This is a great glass kettle. Easy to use, just fill and set on the pad and turn on. Boil water quickly and turns itself off. The kettle has the measurements engraved on the glass so you can easily see how much water you have. The cord wraps inside the base so you only have to have out enough from the base to the outlet. Comes with a cleaning brush but I would not consider that anything special, essentially a sponge on a stick. The one thing different from my other kettles is that there is not strainer at the pour so if you are doing any herbs or teas they will come out when poured.

amended after more use. The button that pops open the lid is beginning to get stuck a bit .. so maybe not a great product for long term. Glad I kept my old electric kettle, just in case...no bells or whistles, but has lasted 20+ years so far.original review: I love the look of this glass kettle, one can see how full it is, and watch the water boil...while it lights up. it is virtually silent. everything an electric kettle should be and more. I would have given it 5 stars except for 2 things. First the lid is attached and this makes it a little harder to clean out if necessary. And 2 when compared to my same size older electric kettle, both filled with 9 cups of water, ( about half full), switched on at the same time, it took this kettle 1 minute longer to come to boil and switch itself off. But this one was a lot more fun to watch and the noise level of this one was relatively silent compared to the older kettle. I had never considered how loud it was!Without knowing how long this will last, I would recommend it if a lower kitchen noise level is worth 1 extra minute, which probably wouldn't be noticed if not watching the time in comparison.

This boiler looks very pretty on my counter especially with the blue light that comes on when it’s working. It’s also very easy to clean since there’s nothing in the middle and the mouth is plenty big for your hand to fit in comfortably. I also like how it’s very easy to see if the inside is clean or not unlike other boilers. I also feel like this is able to boil the water a bit faster than other ones especially with the capacity it holds. I absolutely recommend!

I wanted a glass water kettle that boils water fast. This kettle has 1.8L, or about 1.9 quarts of capacity. The base has a short wire that is retractable. It was long enough on my counter to reach the wall receptacle.Filling the water to its maximum capacity, it took almost 10 minutes for the water to come to a full boil and to shut off automatically. To me that is a bit too long, and I wish the base had a higher wattage to boil faster. I put in less water the next time and it was much faster. The instructions also said to boil two kettles of water and throw that away, before using it for real. To me that is just wasteful and the manufacturing should be cleaner. It does have a nice blue ring of leds towards the base that lights up when boiling the water. The price is reasonable for its boiling performance an capacity.

This electric kettle is a breeze to use and heats up very quickly. Instructions (not that you really need any as it's pretty self explanatory) are well written and easy to understand. It's easy to clean and a sponge washing wand of the appropriate length is included in the package. It is thoughtfully designed in that the cord can wind under the hearing element for storage. 10/10.

The media could not be loaded. This is a good looking functional kettle. I boiled roughly 0.75 liters of water around 4 minutes. It has a nice blue glow. It was quiet until water starts to boil. Kettle will automatically shut off when water reaches boiling temperature. Package comes with kettle, base, cleaning sponge and manual. Its operation is so simply that you don't need its manual.
