Roger Lascelles Wall Clock, Tin, Yellow, 36 x 5 x 36 cm

Loving the new kitchen clock. For info, this clock has no front glass (nothing wrong with that but it wasn't clear in the listing and its sometimes difficult to determine from the photos). Very, very quiet tick. Seems to keep good time over the short period I've had it. Very happy with it.

This is an exact reproduction of Railway Station clocks used all over Europe. A notable exception is the 1940 station of Carnforth featuring in the movie 'Brief Encounter'. In those days they used a clock with Roman numerals. Nowadays the modern clock face has no numbers, only a much clearer series of bold strokes, appropriately enough!Tim in Dublin.

bought this clock for our living room, it simply looks superb on the wall. Felt the price was slightly on higher side but very happy with the purchase

The clock looks stylish and refined, is made from high quality materials, and is silent. However, the mechanism is of very poor quality. The minute hand slips by about 1cm in either direction. This means that it can either point to the correct minute on the way up to the 12 position, or on the way down from the 12 position, but not both. So at eg 2.25pm the minute hand may read 2.27pm, having slipped down, but then read correctly at 2.35pm on the way up to the hour as gravity keeps it in position. The minute hand actually swings freely if you tilt the clock in your hand. I've recently bought 3 of these clocks, and all had the same problem and had to be returned. My other clocks don't do this. Such a shame that Lascelles have spoiled an otherwise great clock by being cheapskates over the mechanism.

Super cool clock. Look great and has silent sweep function. Very pleased with purchase l.

absolutely beautiful, even prettier than pictured. just as described - love it!

Advertised as a wooden clock. Turns out to be a plastic item with a wooden lookalike face stuck on. Disappointed with the value for money aspect.would not buy again.
