The quality of construction is poor. The quality of the wood is poor
The quality of construction is poor. The quality of the wood is poor. It's very much an entry level board. I almost returned it because I thought the posts were missing, but they're inside the cloth bag.

POOR QUALITY
This arrived with all the exterior wood frame pieces not attached to the board. With some wood glue and a fair amount of work, we reassembled it. There were many places on the board, along the edges, where the color had worn off and it looked shabby. Very disappointed in the quality. Once we got it put back together, it was fun to play.

You can fo better with another board
The pegs fly off very easily and the gutter is shallow and narrow. It takes away from the game experience.

Pegs keep falling out.
We love playing Crockinole. The quality of the board is good, but the red pegs do not stay put. It’s very frustrating.

Great 2 player game!
Love this game even though I never win. The only reason I gave a 4 star is the pegs don't stay in the hole if they get tapped.

Decent board for the price
My wife & I first played crokinole at a gaming convention years ago, and since then I've been on the lookout for a board at a decent price. However, really nice crokinole boards are almost entirely a cottage industry, with long wait times and $300+ price tags. I got this board as a "lightning deal" on Amazon for a price that was too good to pass up. It's far from "heirloom quality" - the playing surface isn't as smooth as I'd like (I may try a coat of carnuba wax), and the finish isn't perfect. But, for the price, it plays well enough, and I'm not going to throw a fit if one of my toddlers manages to scratch it or spill something on it during game night. Someday I may buy a high-quality tournament board, but this is a good value for casual play.

Poor quality
I purchased this for my son and his family for Christmas last year, I had it shipped to their place as I live in Canada and they live in the USA. Unfortunately he just told me that they haven’t used it much as the plastic legs keep coming out every time they’re hit by the blocks you flick. He said they fly right off when hit and will not stay in at all. I’m not happy with this board as we had one growing up and lasted many years.
