A very high end fish sauce
I spent most of my childhood in Bangkok Thailand and I have tried a lot of different brands of fish sauce over the years. This company makes Flying Lion which I like very much. They also make 3 crabs, 1 crab and 2 crabs. I have only tried the three crabs which I have used and while not a favorite - it is vary good. I have to say hands down that this (5 crabs) is their best product. It tastes like an artisinal fish sauce. The kind made in small batches in Thailand or Vietnam and bottled by hand. Yes the company takes a few short cuts by using some additives but my only criteria for judging this product is taste. It has a more intense flavor than most nam pla/ nuoc mam sauces without having additional salt. While this isn't the best fish sauce I have ever tasted I do consider it excellent and I highly recommend it.
