Replacement Gaskets (4 Foam Gaskets) for FoodSaver - Fits FM2000, FM2010, FM2100, GM2050, GM2150 Series Vacuum Sealers (Replaces FoodSaver Item 176870-000-000) by OutOfAir

At first i didn’t think i was going to find the foam gaskets after researching many sites . Then i found these and there a perfect fit and at a good price . They even work better than the original ones. Saved me from buying a new Foodsaver.

It was getting so my Food Saver had to be pressed down on the lid to create suction. I like to get the next bag ready while the bag is sealing but I couldn’t do that while pressing with two hands on the top. The old seal was in firmly so I used a dull knife to lift them out. The replacement seals fit exactly. With the first use the seal on top lifted out of the slot, I had to keep fitting it back in. Should I glue it? Was there an adhesive side to the seal? The lack of clear instruction didn’t help. “ Remove all residue ( glue, gasket pieces)” were the only instructions. Did I miss something? As I continued to used the sealer the gasket seemed to snug back into the slot more firmly each time. Overall I’m pleased with the performance of the gaskets, my Food Saver is working like it did when new. (the purchase of the gaskets were much more cost effective than replacing the Food Saver!)

Don't waste your money.These gaskets appear to be the same dimensions as original but they just don't work. My original gaskets still work but are wearing out. When I got these I decided to try them out. They fit very loosely in the channel and I have to push down pretty hard on the kid while the vacuum sealer is running to get it to start pulling a vacuum. On top of that once it starts pulling a vacuum it never achieves the automatic seal function. What a waste of money and now I'm past my return window.

Will try a set from foodsaver. These dont stay in the channel and seal about half the time. It's better than what I had, but definitely not as good as new.

Product arrived as promised, it fit perfectly, the video was very helpful as to where to fit the seal in first.

Restored worn out food saver to new from factory sealing ability

These did not restore vacuum in my Food Saver vacuum sealer.

My vac seal was having issues maintaining pressure and sometimes no holding a vacuum while sealing. Replacement was simple and instantly fix my issues. Sealer works like new again. For what they are, the price is a little high, but better than buying a new machine.
