Perfect book for curious children, in terms of content the explanations are written in a very child friendly way. The answers are the right length and are easy for children to understand and easy for them to remember. There are plenty of colourful pictures and amusing cartoons to look at in a book. It combines everything perfectly for children aged 5 plus, I have brought several for my daughters horse mad friends.These are a great series of books. Well worth a place in your home!

A fantastic book which my children have read over and over again, great interesting facts, great pictures and easy for the kids to read.Excellent all round book, I would recommend to any horse loving child.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my grand-son who is 3 years old and a lover of horses, plenty of pictures for him to look at and information which can be read to him and understand.

Nicely illustrated, fun facts for young elementary age.

We gave this book to our daughter for her 5th birthday. She loves horses and the book was a great hit with her. The illustrations are very nice and the text is informative and well written. I think she might still be a little bit too small to grasp all the details but it is an excellent book for a child to learn about a topic of interest. I could even imagine that this would be useful for the classroom. I highly recommend this book.

This book is great for early elementary school age children. It is informative and funny. Too advanced for the preschool lesson I originally purchased it for, but I am not disappointed in the product. Defiantly a good purchase for elementary school teachers.

My daughter LOVES these books, especially this one. Well, at least, today she does. She has a few different ones and every day another one is her "favorite" for that day. It's enough information to be interesting but not too overwhelming. I love the little tidbits of information around the main paragraphs.

My horse-freak daughters both love this book! It has some great pictures (& cute cartoons) and LOTS of interesting information, in an easy to understand / kid-friendly language!
