Helpful for Chronic Muscle Pain/Spasm/Tension
Chronic pain sucks. If you suffer from it, I feel for you. This set of heating pads works pretty well. I'll admit, the quality is a bit cheap and I didn't pay for anything better. But it's good enough. I use these heat pads every single day in my bed to relax my muscles and relieve pain.I had quit using electric heat pads for months because the last one I had lit on fire under my covers with me lying there. It scared the hell out of me so I turned to hot water bottles. But the convenience of these heat pads is too powerful to ignore. Each heat pad automatically turns off after 2 hours. Each has a 3 level heat setting and I usually use the medium or high one. The one that drapes over your shoulders is a bit awkward. There's a flap that helps warm your neck but it doesn't work unless you lay back into it. The material is fairly soft and warm, but it smells a bit and isn't as soft as I'd like. I use both simultaneously when I go to sleep- one under my legs over a small pillow, and one under my neck and upper back. Then I can switch them around to different areas of pain as well.My one real issue is that the buttons are way too easy to press. Sometimes I realize the heat is on when I didn't mean it to be, and other times the heat levels go up or down by accident. This is a definite negative aspect of the product. You barely have to touch the buttons but they will respond regardless.Overall, okay for a set of pain-relieving products under $30. They can make a huge difference for your muscle spasms, tightness, tension, soreness and pain. They literally make me moan from the relief when I go to bed. My pain may be neverending but at least I have some helpful tools like this. If you have back pain and muscle strain, this is definitely worth a try!

Great size 2 for one
This was a surprise when I received the heating pads with two power plugs. I knew it was two pads but did not realize it was two power cords. For this price, it's a great deal. I saw the neck pad and that sold me. I had paid a high price for a battery operated neck heating pad that was not worth the price. Another model had a vibrator in it which meant you could not lay back with it on your shoulders and it was heavy. This pad you can sit up or lay down with it. There is a little snap to close it below your chin which keeps it from falling off. I have problems with weight on my shoulders and this heating pad is not heavy. I feel the heat better on the high setting. It's great to tilt your head back and feel the heat at your neck. I recommend this to anyone that has pain at their shoulders and or neck.It has been less than 5 months and the large heating pad went out. I have been using it almost every day for hours on end. I'm still not happy that I have to purchase a new as the warranty is only for 3 months. The shoulder neck heat pad is still working I even changed out the plugs and it is the pad itself.

Heats up quickly and a good size
This is a really good deal for $35. I had my first "shark week" post baby and it was brutal. I immediately scored Amazon for a good heating pad. I also work at a computer all day and carry most of my tension in my neck and back, so I liked the combo pack with the shoulder heating pad.I've tested this sucker out for the last 2 nights and it's awesome. I've used it for my abdomen to relieve cramping and on my back to relieve back tension from picking up and carrying a 14 pound baby around all day.I like that it's long enough that I can put it behind me on the recliner and it goes from the top of my butt to the bottom of my neck (it reminds me of the seat heaters in our SUV).This thing also heats up really quickly, which is awesome when you're hurting an need relief (you don't have to wait 10 minutes for it to get hot). I love that it has an auto shut off after 2 hours in case I fall asleep with it on so I won't burn myself up or the house down.I haven't used the shoulder piece yet, but even if it sucks, I'm so happy with the other piece that I probably won't care.**Edit 6/25/18** I would give this set 10 stars if I could!!! I've been working out a lot recently and it's been taking a toll on my week back. In the evenings I set this up on the back of the couch while I'm feeding my baby or watching TV after he goes to sleep and it is HEAVEN. Last night I was so sore after doing yard work all day I use the large heating pad on my back and the other one around my shoulders simultaneously and it was AMAZING! My husband even steals them from me sometimes and uses them as well.

What I like most, is the softness of the heating pads
What I like most, is the softness of the heating pads. What I like least, is even on low the pad heats very hot for quite a few minutes, then settles off to a barely detectable heat. I don't think it's particularly safe for it to heat that way, nor is it comfortable. The good news is it does turn itself off after 2 hrs.***UPDATE*** even though I left a review, I did not personally complain to the company. However, Cindy quickly reached out to me on her own to correct the issues I was having, and I am extremely pleased with the solutions provided. Excellent Customer Service!!!For that reason, I will change my rating from 3 stars, to 5!

Total junk
Ok, where do I begin?- These things stink and give off a really sharp synthetic odor when heated up.- both pads have the same electrical problem. They start of dangerously hot and within a couple of minutes settle down to where they are barely room temperature. No matter what heat setting you put them on.- The detachable cables aren't swappable from pad to pad. They look almost identical, but the connectors are flipped on each one so you cant use them on each other. Which makes zero sense! And probably what annoys me the most about these knock-off garbage pieces of junk.- When you disconnect the cable from the pad, the controls wig out and you have to disconnect them from the wall, reattach them to the pad first and then reconnect to the wall again. They won't work in any other sequence. Which is also maddening!- the shoulder pad is a weird shape on me and most of it doesn't actually make contact with my shoulders. YMMV on this one.The only thing that works as advertised is the auto-shut-off.I returned these and just got a sunbeam pad. You should too. these things are an insult to humanity.
