This cap is easy to use, but is most effective if you're sitting stationary (watching television, computer work, etc). It slips around a bit if you're active. I have been using it for 3 months now, and I have many baby hairs sprouting back up after a few months of consistent shedding and thinning. It's not a fashion statement and probably not as comfortable as a popular company's expensive baseball hat version. Still, it gets the job done for a fraction of the price! It is generously sized, so during a 40-minute session, I wear it tilted a bit forward for 20 minutes and tilted a bit back for the other 20 - to ensure full head coverage.

I used it for 5-10 minutes a day, mostly on red light mode and immediately saw thicker hair on the top of my head! The first time I used it I felt hungry right after, a sign it did something. It gets warm, almost hot in use, (I live in a hot climate). I use my small desk fan during use.Sadly the control unit is on the power supply side - wired to the plug. The usb cable cannot function from a battery /power bank. Such a missed opportunity. It means I have to sit near a plug and can't walk around with it on. I hope in future they make a version that can be battery powered.Anyway, if you have receding hair, know this: people in public treat you very differently. Women often say things like "I didn't have much in common with him" to save face. But the reality is (in my long experience) women place MORE emphasis on physical looks than men do, they just admit it less often. In other words: BUY THIS or something like it! If you don't have the money, sell something/ buy on credit, whatever it takes... and then keep putting it on your head every day. If you can afford a battery powered one, that's nice.. if not, just buy this. I paid $250 (plus $250 import and shipping fee to my current location, ouch). If it lasts 6 months, it will have been worth it.PS. you have the power to change your life, your career, and your future. Do whatever you need, find the help, inspiration, motivation or friends you need to succeed.

I bought the PUPCA Laser Cap in hopes to help me with my hair-loss. I wish I could tell other customers if LED light therapy works - but I never made it to that stage. This cap (stiff, hard plastic helmet) IS DANGEROUS. DON'T BUY!!!Report: In the beginning, it seemed to work OK for the first 7-8 times. Then it gradually got hotter. Finally (still new) it got so hot, that it burned my scalp. I had to rip it off, my head still burning. THIS ITEM MUST BE PULLED FROM THE MARKET. It is a health hazard.It also does not at all have any safety mechanisms built in to shut off if something short circuits or overheats - very dangerous for an item so close to the head.Please, dear people, who read this - don't buy it. TOO DANGEROUS(PS.: Return window had also just closed.2 days later: I re-tested item (cap not on head). It gets as hot as an iron for ironing clothes.

I purchased PUPCA Laser Cap Professional Grade Medical Grade Laser Hair Growth Treatment for hairloss in October 2024My hair is long it used to be thick now very thin hair continues to fallout it's January 2025It's been frustating usually my hair would fallout, and grow back. Cleaning my hairbrush daily vacuuming massive amounts of hair "all the time" I was really beginning to worry, supplements didn't seemed to help.I believe the cap is helping I haven't be using it long enough to really see any evidence of hair growth, but hair seems to be feeling thicker on top.The warmth from the cap is tolerable, I switch from red to blue light using both consectively for thirty-five mintues .I will to do another review in the future.

I’ve been using this cap 1-2x daily for 3 months and have seen significant hair growth. I had been losing my hair for years now, due to female pattern loss, in my 50s. About 2 months after I started using this, I had a crop of new hair come in all over the top and sides of my head, so much so that I could feel stubble. A couple of weeks later, I could see the new hair. A spot near my hairline that had virtually no hair even has little, short hairs. I am beyond thrilled! Will I ever have the hair of my 20s? No, but the ne growth is making me very happy. 😊

I don't see any NIR bulbs. I'm skeptical.

The media could not be loaded. This laser hat is great quality. I have used a laser comb in the past before so I know that it helps regrow hair and makes existing hair stronger. I wanted to try something hands free because my husband is losing hair and he does not have time for a laser comb or applying hair solution. This hat is great because the easy functions. you just put it on and set the timer. You can do other work with it while it’s doing its thing. It’s easy to use and fits comfortably. It’s at good price point compared to other laser hats. The hair regrowth takes time about 3-5 months consistent use. Hopefully it gives us good results as we just started using it I highly recommend it.
