Is this a can of gravy or the powdered mix? I need some poutine and won't be able to get to Canada this year! Help me please

HiSometimes its a can and sometimes it's powderYou can simply check the weight which is 1 pound in this case so it'll be a can.

I only ordered one can. I do not know if you can order larger numbers.

Is this chicken or beef gravy?

It's actually a vegetable based gravy with I think some chicken broth. It is used on Canadian Hot Chicken Sandwiches and also on french fries with crud cheese. If you can get the packages of the dry mix and stir it in water it is better.

Can someone tell me the ingredients for the can version?

Hi there - I can promise you it isn't as healthy as homemade poutine gravy, but I had purchased it as a treat for a Canadian friend. Here are the ingredients found:Water, modified corn starch, salt, wheat flour, chicken broth, chicken fat, hydrolyzed vegetable proteins (soy, corn), dextrose, sugar, onion powder, yeast, vinegar, caramel powder (sulphites), tomato powder, spice extracts, spices, citric acid, xanthan gum, garlic powder, thiamin hydrochloride, natural flavours. Contains: wheat, soy, sulphites.I'll be making my own next time - I just needed a point of reference for taste and consistancy!
