I have wooden blocks that we painted for my grandson’s baby shower.  Could I put a coating of this over the paint on the blocks to finish them?

Our resin would work very well to finish painted wooden blocks. The resin will add a beautiful shine to the blocks and enhance the color. I would recommend putting it on in thin layers. Question 2

Anyone used this for tumblers?  What is the heat tolerance on this product?  I live in the south where it gets pretty hot and humid

Naked Fusion Resin is great for tumblers. We have received excellent feedback from many of our customers that use it for tumblers.  It leaves a beautiful shiny high gloss finish and is very easy to work with. Once the resin is fully cured it is heat resistant to 135 degrees F and it is not effected by humidity. When applying the resin on your tumblers we recommend 70 to 78 degrees F room temperature for best results. If the room temperature is higher than 80 degrees F it will shorten your working time. To answer your question the resin works great for tumblers. It’s is food safe and has a great consistency for tumbler coating. Works great with glitters as well if you are using glitter or pigments. Let us know if we can answer more questions for you!

Can i use weed flowers i find outside to put in the mold?  do i have to do anything to them or can i just pluck and stick in?

There are multiple ways to approach embedding flowers in resin. There is some preparation needed to get the best results. The 1st method is to press dry the flowers in a book compressed between 2 paper towels for a few days until all the moisture is out. The 2nd method is to use the flowers fresh.  Then take the fresh or dried flowers and seal them by brushing on a thin clear glue and water mixture. Let them dry completely then they  are ready to embed in the silicone  resin mold. These methods will offer the best results.
