I purchased this for its size because it's big enough to actually see yourself in and do your makeup, but still small enough for a personal item travel bag. This folds completely flat and fits in the top of my makeup case. I searched for just the right mirror and it was so hard to find. I'm getting older and my eyes aren't what they used to be. This mirror has magnification sections that are perfect! The light is a bonus when you're in a hotel room because you never know what kind of lighting you're going to have. The light lasts quite a while compared to most. I purchased a mirror similar to this on a larger scale, but it didn't fold completely flat and the light didn't last through me putting my makeup on one time.In summary, this mirror is light weight, folds flat, has magnification sections, LED lights, small enough for your personal bag but big enough to actually see yourself to do your makeup and comes with a velvet-like pouch and charging cord. If you got this mirror for traveling it’s great. It’s small enough and it comes with a little traveling bag. It’s a type C charger but it only works with the one it comes with. Also the mirror light goes dim while I’ve had it charged for a long time. So when using it I have to keep it on the charger
