A book
Good book but I thought it was going to be really funny - only giggled once so a bit disappointed. Having said that - it must have been okay as I finished it.

I love her undiagnosed ADHD madness
She makes you laugh the topics are multifaceted and there is always something new to learn about her. She’s unabashed and tells a good yarn about the life she’s lived.

Definitely well titled.
When you read a book by Miriam, you know there will be swear words and rude stories but, all that aside, this book is a great read. Miriam is very astute about politics and world affairs. I am sure that, given the chance, she could put the world to rights. Included in the book are interesting stories about meeting celebrities and about Miriam's kindness to others. I really enjoyed reading this book. More please, Miriam!

Film superb! Sadly order not fulfilled correctly.
The film is an 1980’s classic cult of its time. Sadly however my purchase was tarnished because I paid extra for it to be gift wrapped with a gift note which it did not arrive in.So 5/5 for movie however a rather lowly 1/5 🥴

She Is Nothing If Not Herself
I can’t say I’m a huge fan of Ms. Margolyes’ work, simply because I haven’t seen much of it. I’m a huge fan of her personality and her appearances on The Graham Norton Show, which is where I really got to know who she is. It was from there that I learned about Ms. Margolyes’ autobiography, This Much Is True, and I quite enjoyed it, so it wasn’t a stretch to take a look at this book, her follow-up.Like many sophomore efforts, I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as the first one, though I still enjoyed it a lot. Unlike This Much Is True which had the advantage of a simple through line—her life—this one is more scattershot. Though still stories from her life, in this one the stories are built around themes, and she jumps from topic to topic. Many of them are very well-told, but the book doesn’t really flow. Still, I find Ms. Margolyes to be a very open, entertaining character. She is frank about her likes and dislikes, and she has a way with profane language and behavior which is all her own.Since reading her books, I have kept my eyes open for her screen work. Recently, my wife and I found her documentary on Australia, which she talks about in this book, on Netflix and we liked it. I feel she is someone who I’d like to know (even if I worry she would overwhelm), and her two books have allowed that to a degree. I recommend them both.

Bought this book for an elderly friend
who informs me that the print is too small for her to read even with her glasses. I a. Going to purchase a magnifying sheet in order that she can read the book written by her favourite actress. Will write a review then.
