The glasses are nothing special other than they provide good protection for the eyes when welding and you don't have some other glasses or helmet. They remain visible for viewing and darken fairly fast on quick change in brightness. The glasses provide two options for wearing: 1) the typical ear pieces of glasses or 2) an elastic band for going around the head. Make sure you take of all the plastic preventing scratches on all the flat surfaces--there's more than the obvious one. While not the best quality glasses, they are functional welding glasses that auto-dim at a reasonable cost.

These are great. They're a simple design and fit just like a pair of sunglasses. It's much more convenient and even more comfortable than taking out my big helmet. They're even cooler, temperature wise, than wearing my helmet, because they let the air go around my head, instead of being confined without any ventilation. Thats nice because I live in a hot environment and heat builds up in no time whatsoever. They seem to respond quickly and effectively to bright exposures, and I don't think they require batteries, at least I can't find any place for them, so that's good too. For all of the above reasons, I think they're worth recommending as quick and easy go-to welding glasses. Thank you.
