This is a beautiful planner. The just under 8.5x11 size makes it compact. I prefer Monday through Friday across the top on the planning pages, which this has. Unfortunately the monthly calendar begins weeks with Sunday and ends with Saturday. I don't know a single teacher who doesn't group Sat/Sun together. It would be much more useful with the weekend together. It MAY bother me enough to get a new planner, but it hasn't so far.

Exactly what I needed!

The planner inside is nice, few lines to write in, but the planner starts in July. We’re still in June and the planner ends in June. It would make sense to do a full year. The cover is flimsy and fragile enough that the corner broke upon arrival. The font size is great, but would be hard for those that have vision problems.

I find this to be a delightful planner of a good median format, roughly 8” x 10”, with a beautiful cover and ample space to write in. Extra pages are included for student pages, birthdays, yearly planning, empty graph paper, and holidays. Upon first opening this package, I said to myself “Wow!”I enjoy the free flowing watercolor type plants, flowers, and herbs on the waterproof cover, which serve to inspire. I also like the short proverbs on the top right of each tabbed calendar month overview, such as “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” (Les Brown) or “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” (Elbert Hubbard)I am satisfied that so far I have been keeping up with jotting down notes in my new planner. This helps me to become more aware of how I spend my time and organize my schedule. I was drawn to order this for I liked the long, full length, white and green vertical format sections, which allow a lot of room to track hourly activities. I might have preferred pre-written time slots. Yet, this open format helps me be more flexible.I was a teacher for many years. Even though I do not need this absolutely for teaching currently, I find it easy to adapt or convert certain student sections to serve as extra pages for tracking my goals and activities. The planner has another feature I have not seen before. On the tabbed calendar month, it tracks each day in relation to the days left in the year. For example, the last day of the year reads “366/0” and the beginning of the second half of the year, July 1, reads “183/183”. It is also nice to have a clear pocket at the end of this planner.

I was thinking 8x10 would be so close to a standard sized sheet of paper I wouldn't be able to tell, but turns out that's not true. Although there is still plenty of room to write, it's a different size than the rest of the folders and notebooks I carry. Otherwise, great planner and the spiral binding makes it very easy to write all the way to the edges.
