Red Kap Men's Stain Resistant, Flat Front Work Pants

I have been buying Red Kap pants for probably 15 years, Navy Blue flat front pants are a dress requirement where I work. Years ago when I first saw them advertised on a Automotive Workwear sight I was skeptical mainly due to the price being so cheap but I decided to give them a try. These pants are literally the best work pants I have ever owned, First off Comfort, right out of the bag fit perfectly, slightly longer on the inseam but not too serious a wee bit stiff at first but within a few wash and wears you can feel them soften, (Unlike my 5 year old Dickies which still stand on their own) Not much for color fade either they hold up well. They are tough pants, I am up and down off the ground frequently, I snag them constantly and no tears, Stain resistant to all automotive chemicals except battery acid obviously. (but the acid didn't make it through to my skin) Like I said I have been buying and wearing Red Kaps a long time, I started at waist size 56 and worked my way down to currently a 44 waist. All the pants I have ordered have fit and worn perfectly and when I was done with the bigger size Goodwill happily took them. On a few occasions I received pants that had flaws with the inseam or zipper but had no problem with exchanges at all. I solved the longer inseam problem with buying better boot which I should have anyway. I will buy these until I retire and then probably after.

I don't often advertise brands. Lately, I have begun replacing all of my Dickies with products made by Red Kap. From my understanding, Red Kap makes the majority of uniforms for the Big Three automakers in Detroit, among others. Their products are affordable and have proven thus far to be more durable with zero pilling of the fabric in my rather ample gooch. Contrast that with Dickies, where two weeks down the line, I feel the need to buy extra blades for my safety razor to shave them. I sweat less in Red Kap. They launder better. They look more professional. They are resistant to the hardness and staining of well water. They're resistant to snags. They're roomier and more comfortable. If I kneel in a pile of cheese and cornmeal, they brush off. They don't stink. When I put them on, I know I'm going to work, and I know that I will come home without a hole in my crotch. The reason I say I need to give them six months is that they are single-stitch sewn, and I'm not convinced that I won't someday come home with a split from Pakistan to Hawaii. But for the price of two pairs of Dickies, I can buy three of my new brand, and they make a good range of shorts, as well. I even bought a pair of shop shorts for this summer, with pockets that would only pass for cargos if they were fully loaded. If you work in any kind of blue-collar industry requiring black, navy, charcoal, or hi-vis pants or shorts, I'd look to Red Kap, first. Just don't get caught in a fire, poly blend fuses to the skin when it melts and you'll need a graft. Thank you for your review, Mr. Red Kap.

Pants for to size, and were honestly a little longer than expected. Fabric was a rougher texture though, might wash out. I bought these hoping for green pants but the color was much closer to charcoal. The pants felt firm and thick. Seems like good quality, just returned as the color wasn't expected.

These work pants are exactly what I was looking for. The material feels durable and holds up well after repeated washes, and the stain-resistant feature really works — spills wipe right off. The fit is true to size, and the flat front looks neat while still being comfortable for long hours on the job. Pockets are practical and the stitching seems solid. Overall, great quality for the price and ideal for anyone who needs reliable workwear.

Know your waist size as these are true to size. Length is longer than other pants as well. Roomy so no worries about ripping them when squat down

Seems true to size, if not a bit longer than expected. The stitching is basic - not the quality that I'd hoped for. Fabric is stiffer than expected, but will likely ease up with a few washings. A bit see-through in the white color. For the money, it seems like a solid choice, as they aren't costly.

as replacement to now fashionable and artificially high priced Dickies these are excellent. Slightly different fit and not quite as thick as 874s but would highly recommend.

Usually wear 32 but got a 33 to be safe. Turned out to be quite true to size but did not mind the looser fit. But these are really baggy so I would only wear them at work when doing more hands-on tasks.
