Dangerous and not engineered correctly for a 5 ton hydraulic jack
Used the first time and when loading the press basket, the frame broke. The break tore the metal frame (too thin gauge of steel) when hydraulic jack was loaded. The tear in the frame sent the jack flying almost hitting my son. This is not a safe product and needs to be redesigned to a thicker wall thickness. I am not sure how to get my money back as it has been used and the original packaging is gone. I urge you to search elsewhere for your safety. There are simple material strength calculations that could have predicted this. I am just glad now one was severely hurt or worse!!!

Works better than I could have asked
For the price, you cannot beat it. I used it for tomato canning, and pressed over 1,400lbs of tomatoes to get the water out of them after cooking and it worked great. Only thing that doesn’t make sense is the composite wood press block. It absorbs liquid and then warped over time, should be made of something different, but overall loved it
