It looks long, very sturdy, price is reasonable.

The lock is heavy duty and the cable matches it. I feel safe leaving my Burchda e-bike unattended with this product. Also the customer service with this company is second to none. I had one small issue and they handled it above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend the product and the company to anyone.

A sturdy-looking U-lock remains about the best realistic method of protecting your bike from today's bike thieves. Add a really beefy six foot steel cable to the mix, and you should be safe. The important thing is the appearance of the bike (and/or its accessories) being difficult to take, and this set will do that very well.I like the versatility of a decent-size U-lock AND a long, heavy steel cable. With a single bike, you can secure not only the frame to a solid object (like a street sign planted in concrete), but you can wrap the cable through both wheels and even your (likely expensive) saddle's rails, keeping the major components of the bike safe from pilferage. Yes, we've all heard about the trend of stealing individual components from the bike, and nothing short of chaining a pit bull to your bike is likely to prevent any possibility of that - but the vast majority of bicycle thefts involves taking the WHOLE bike, and this set makes that much, much more difficult than an unlocked bike, or one secured with a thin cable or thin chain-based lock.If you have multiple bikes to protect (like on a group ride, or top of your car in a bike rack), you can use the cable to keep all the bikes secured to each other and to (hopefully) something solid. At the very least, it's a pretty daunting task to try to run away carrying three bikes.I think this set represents a pretty good value for the money, and appears to be well-made from quality materials. If I find out otherwise in the future, I'll update this review.

I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. So this SPORTNEER Heavy Duty Bicycle U-Lock is a no brainer. First of all, this is a well known company. I have had the good fortune to have been able to use and evaluate many products from Sportneer. And while this U-lock set with a soft rubber coating to protect your paint is fairly standard or common, it does come with an extra. I absolutely love the fact that this comes with a 6 foot security cable as thick as your finger. This ups the value of this kit. A thick assed cable can change the security game. A criminal might move on to the next steal if they see this kit in action. That's our greatest hope. I already have a handful of these u-locks so this one is going to make an awesome gift for a lucky club member who may be in need. And who couldn't use more security?
