I bought this timer for my daughter, and I was initially skeptical since I’ve tried various tools to help with daily transitions like ending screen time or getting ready for bed. To my surprise, she responded amazingly well to this timer! I think it gives her a sense of control, and that’s made all the difference. The packaging is lovely, and the product itself is very appealing to little kids since it looks like a watch. I’ve already purchased two more as birthday gifts, and they’ve been a big hit! Can’t express how much I LOVE it, very well thought for the timer-trick, I used to use my phone but I was always scared it would fall and break since I was on the move with my kiddos, anyways I feel this timer is perfect to give them a sense of ownership, control and start self regulation in a very playful way. At the beginning my daughter was more enthusiastic about pressing the buttoms herself and having her own “watch”. And then day by day she got used to using it for her daily transitions ie. start dinnertime, stop playtime, going for her bathtime, etc. we are really enjoying it and learning along the way.

Our toddler responds really well to having a timer set, so this little watch timer is a good accessory to help her with transitions during the day. We'll tell her that we need to go potty in 5 minutes and set the timer on the watch. She can run and play until the watch beeps. The strap is fastened with velcro patches and fits well on our large 2.5yo's wrist.When a 2 or 5 minute timer is set, the watch face displays a ring of red LEDs that tick down until 0. The red ring is a little intimidating, and it would have been nice if they used a more "fun" color like green or purple.The "buzzer" is just a standard digital watch beeping alarm. Setting the timer requires two buttons to be pressed, and once activated, you can't change the timer for a full 60 seconds. This prevents your kid from pushing the buttons and changing the settings.The included proprietary charger has a magnetic latch, but it's pretty weak. The magnetics are not strong enough to hold against the bending and twisting of the stiff cable. Any slight bump or knock will disconnect the charger.Overall, this is a really nice toy and tool for young children. Our 2.5yo seems to like it, but we're also a little concerned about the countdown ticker giving her anxiety, because she'll sometimes prefer that we just use our Google Home for the timer instead of the watch.

I just got this for my 3-year-old and 1-year-old daughters. My 3-year-old absolutely adores it! She even tells me when to set the timer now, saying, "Mom, I'm going to set it for 5 minutes until my lunch is ready, okay?" Haha, it's really helping with our routine. As for my 1-year-old, she only wears it because her big sister does, but she's still too little for it. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it! I actually bought 2 for my daughters' best friends, and they're also totally obsessed with it! It's easy for them to use, very user-friendly, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

The timer itself is super simple to use and works exactly as advertised. We kept having issues with the Velcro band falling off or getting caught during play, turning it into a struggle to use.We're planning to find a different band to use it on, since the design allows the band to be fully removed!Definitely recommend the timer itself.
