I love my dauphinois potatoes but I must admit I hate the prep. This makes it so easy and quick for me! No wonder I’m gaining the pounds too many carbs! Ideal for Perfectly symmetrical salads too, perfect for home made chips. All the things you love that take time to prep are made hassle free with this. I used to have one before that broke, but that you had to hold slanted. This comes with the great feature to stand slanted so no more hurting hand. It’s strong, looks nice, does a great job and at the end of all that it’s so simple to clean. I like my little kitchen gadgets that make meal times easier and this is one of them. Oh and I love the little glove that come with it to keep your fingers protected. You do also get the holder with spikes so it will hold your veg in place anyway. Makes it quite safe to use. Highly recommended!

I was pleased with how this arrived and looks as it was a gift and looks smart and expensive.Good bits - for slicing potatoes, carrots etc it is sharp and glides though them easily, it is easy to clean, the gloves that come with it are great, the settings are easy to adjust and there are lots of optionsLess good bits - the metal is actually quite hin and flimsy so if you press hard you make the gap bigger which seems a bit pathetic really as potatoes and things need quite a firm hold?! Secondly the way you put the "holder" thing onto the veg item is a bit odd, you have to sort of push a button on the top of it to get the spikes out far enough and we have found you can never quite get to the end of the vegetable which is frustrating.Overall its good and is getting some use but the cheap price suggests the quality, you can probably get a very expensive one that is much better but for the price and how often we use it, its fine

Freezer space is scarce at the moment, so to be able to make homemade chips is a big thing. It took me a while to got a hand of this slicer and on the first attempt, I even cut mu finger (I did not use the protective gloves that were supplied), so the slicer is definitely very sharp!It does the job perfectly once you get a hang of it and I definitely recommend the usage of gloves as well. The largest chips you can make is 9x9mm, but I have also used it for slice the veggies for Chinese stir fry and they were great! I love that I can make all my veggies the same- equal size. You will do better with using larger veggies. Definitely a good product that I would recommend.

It slices very well. The problem is that the vertical chip and juiienne cutters are not sharp. They can manage things like cucumber but cannot handle carrots, aubergine, courgettes and most other vegetables. They tend to tear.Buy this if you are only interested in the adjustable slicer which works very well. The glove is a useful accessory as mandolins are very unforgiving if the catch your finger.

I’m having to type now with my left hand as all of my right hand fingers are piled up in slices a few millimetres thick.I guess I should have read the instructions and either worn the glove or used the attachment.It’s very sharp.

I’ve thought about buying a mandoline lots of times over the years and decided to get this one. I love it. This makes veg prep so easy. I now prepare all my veg as soon as I come home from the shops and store it in tubs in the fridge. If I fancy a salad, its all ready, stir fry, its ready, if i want to make coleslaw the veg is ready. I love this. Every house should have one and this one is great (Although it’s my first one so I can’t compare it to others.)

The product is excellent with one obvious flaw. It's easy to clean and easy to adjust the cut. The flaw (and maybe it's my fault?) is that I easily shaved off some of the holder - on both edges as it happens. I'm not sure if this impacts on the use but I don't think so. The holder doesn't fit into a track so it can lift off when in use and under pressure..

This product isn't great for small veg, which we wanted it for most. It'll only julienne half of a small carrot, for example. The other bit you'll have to cut yourself or shred. It's also not an effortless solution. You have to use a decent amount of pressure to cut the vegetables. There's a gravity fed mandolin out there that I had my eye on and I wish I'd gone for instead.

Además de cortar alucinantemente bien, es fácil de limpiar y usar. Habíamos tenido las típicas de plástico pero nada que ver con este, lo supera con creces. Un 10 por nuestra parte. Gracias.

Het toestel doet perfect voor wat het gemaakt is.Helaas had ik de bijgeleverde handschoenen niet gebruikt en had ik toch een kleine snede in de vinger. Dus : oppassen geblazen want het mes is vlijmscherp.

Para tener en casa no está mal, aunque podrían mejorar un poco la calidad del plástico. Por lo demás está muy bien y cumple perfectamente su función.

Hace ya tiempo que la compré y sigue cortando como el primer día,100% recomendable.
