Secure on a motorcycle without a windshield
I'm very happy with this handlebar phone mount. I have this mounted on a Softail Fatboy where the phone is in landscape mode. I do not have a windshield and the wind has not been any issue. It has been installed for over a year. I purchased the aluminum (silver) and it blends nicely with chrome handlebars. It has a mechanism that rotates the device 360 degrees and the friction of the rotating mechanism has held the phone steady without issue.

Get version 1 not 2
Version 2 has a rotating plastic piece that is very flimsy and wobbly. I took out the ball bearings and tightened it down essentially making it like version 01. I have no issues with the aluminum clamp, but the rotating disc is a problem.

Make sure you tighten the knob on the back even when the holder isn't holding a phone.
