Good guide, however and according the the author , whom I happened to have been communicating without knowledge online, the guide is not meant to be used as a repair shop manual, if doing involved mechanical work, you will need the Toyota Service Manual, Haines repair manual and knowledge of basic mechanical system nomenclature, i.e., the named parts in an engine compartment.

This book ticked all the right boxes for me. I have a FJ70 Landcruiser with a 3F motor which was never sold in the US so there is not much information on the 3F engine in this book.However the rest of the book is very usefull, and I especially enjoyed reading the history of the Toyota trucks in general.

A good overview

This was a great accompanying book to add to the other manuals I have for my yoda's. There is a history and more in depth explanation given than the manuals have.
