Great set of paint marker pens.
The pigment content of these marker pens must be very high because the paint is so rich in colour when I applied paint to my resin sculpture. I like the fact that controlling the amount paint flow onto the object whether thin lines or thick is so easy. A bonus was the good quality presentation case they came in which will last for years. My teenage granddaughters are green with envy so it looks as though I will be buying them each a set for their birthdays.

Good place to start if you're interested in paint pens
First thing I should mention is that I looked on this brands website and their acrylic markers are heavily marketed towards rock painting, I used them on smooth canvas so if you use them on papaer, card, rocks etc you might have different results.I've been using acrylic markers for my art for the past couple of years, mainly Posca and Molotow. Acrylic markers typically come in a much smaller selection than other mediums and whilst you can make new colours with Molotow it does require buying more paint, empty pens etc so it's a lot more hassle than mixing regular acrylic or water colour etc.So I'm always on the look out for new colours and I came across these on Insta and it looked like there might be some colours I don't have.First thing I need to say about the pens is that the case they come in is one of the best art cases I've seen among any brand so kudos for that.Colours - There's a decent selection of colours especially the yellow/orange/red selection. The blue selection is okay but there's only two real greens and no light purple/lilac colours. There's also a few flesh tones. As far as adding to my Posca and Molotow collection. The aqua green, light green, pastel blue and coral pink are new colours. Posca does have an aqua green and coral pink but they are different colours. The coral pink here is actually nothing like coral pink, it's more like a light brown.Performance - When I was making the colour chart one of the colours was very dry and a couple of other were very watery. The colour went down smooth on my colour swatch which is canvas sheet which is quite rough. However on smooth canvas I had two issues and I've had them with other 'cheaper brands'. Firstly the paint doesn't go down smooth and it can look streaky. You can go over with another layer but there is always the possibility it takes more than two layers or you scratching through the older layers. On small sections it's not a problem but on large areas it's a problem. My second issue is that the colours look shiny once they've dried and this really stands out when you used them next to Posca or Molotow. The colours are numbered ranging from 11 to 84 so I looked on the website to see if the other 40 or so colours were there and see if there's any I could add to my collection but the company just has way too many different kinds of pens that all look different and loads of different sets in different sizes. They do sell single colours but only in packs of 5 which isn't helpful. It feels like the company has just bought loads of different kinds of acrylic markers and had their logos put on them were as Posca and Molotow all of their pens look the same but just come in different sizes. If you do buy these and do like them and want to expand your collection I highly recommend looking at Posca or Molotow, they are more expensive but you can shop around to get deals on packs etc but they are substantially better in quality.Instagram Dr_Radz

The best on the markets. Easy flowing paint good colours. I have been to using them to decorate flower pots and colours really stand out especially against grey and lighter colours

Little to no metallic shine
I bought these for use on paper with my watercolours. On watercolour paper there is absolutely no metallic sheen and the colour is a dull sage green'ish. On regular writing paper there is the slightest metallic sheen if you hold it under the right light. It is a pleasant yellow colour on glass, but again no metallic sheen. The same lack of metallic sheen with fabric and wood.Their description and photos is a total fabrication of the actual product. I would not recommend this product to anyone who requires a metallic gold pen.

Bon produit

Lots of colors!
The Artistro 30 fine tip paint markers come in a very nice box with a metal clasp. The box is lovely and makes a good place to store them on my desk. Upon opening the box, the markers are labeled on the caps with a number which corresponds with a color chart on the back of the box, which I find makes it easy to find the exact color I’m looking for. I also really like that it comes with an instruction card and two replacement nibs. The paint markers come in a nice variety of colors including pastels, neons, skin colors, and metallics. I really like the variety of colors in this set. The one critique I have about the colors would be that 41 and 55 (beige and coral pink) look like they may be mislabeled as 55 looks more beige and 41 looks more coral. Also the pastel purple doesn’t really look pastel to me, and the fuchsia is really a dark pink. Other than that, the colors are beautiful and looked great when I made a swatch of all the colors. The pens were really quick to prime. I worked on a few different projects to test them out, wood slice ornaments, rocks, and a canvas painting. I did have a couple problems which may be due to being new to paint pens. Since they are fine point they are great for details, not so much for coloring in large areas. I noticed after using them for the second or third time that while some of the pens remained opaque, others became watery and needed to be shaken quite vigorously to get paint to go on better. I do have a set of 15 medium tip Posca pens I bought shortly before these. In comparing the two, Posca does have better coverage and opacity, especially over black. However, the Artistro is a great choice considering the variety of colors and how many markers you get for the price compared to Posca. The Artistro 30 set was about $38 vs. $30 for the 15 set of Posca. I had a lot of fun drawing with them and experimenting on different surfaces. I think this set, combined with the cute box, and the variety of beautiful colors, would make a great gift for any level artist and I would certainly recommend them!

Fáciles de usar, colores muy brillantes
Muy buen producto. Me ha parecido que se gastan un poco rápido, pero el tiempo que duran son muy brillantes y cómodos.
