Was worried these wouldnt last. We haven't used them that much, but I quickly was able to use them to add holes for 3-4 belts and clean up some other lether holes as well as my wife using it for some crafts. They are not pretty looking but do the job.

I was pleasantly surprised with this set. The quality is excellent and they've been easy to use. I don't use the set often, but when I do it works exactly as expected. For the price you can't go wrong with it.

I have used these many times now, as I punch holes into leather to make sewing holes so I can attach leather tags to fabric. They come in a small plastic bag with a resealable top. they do have an oil on them to prevent rusting so if you don't want that getting on you or your project you must first clean wipe them off. The smell of the oil does linger on your skin, so i would recommend wearing gloves. After cleaning them off I used a knife sharpener on the edge of a few of these to make them sharper so they cut through the leather with less effort. The smallest sized ones were the ones that needed sharpening the most. be gentle ad don't overdo the sharpening, you don't want to flatten the circle. one star was removed because I had to sharpen a few.

high quality punches, have helped me adjust belts, watch straps and other leather products, very useful. in years past i have thrown out a few belts that didn't fit. and who knew all i would've needed was these punches.

I have been using these punches for the past few weeks and haven’t run into any problems. The 1mm punch gets the most use on 5oz leather as I need to punch out 36 holes for each product. Holes are clean and the punched leather ejects cleanly without clogging chute.I’m impressed in the quality of these punches especially for the price. No sharpening was needed to get them functional.

This is a great set , needs a lil sharpening as with all things in leather work .

As other reviewers have said, these punches arrived not able to immediately be used. They did not seem to be sharpened properly. I know other reviewers are familiar with sharpening punches but I do not have the tools to do that. So unless you already know how to sharpen a punch and have the tools to do so, it would be better to get a more expensive kit.That said, the actual punches seemed to be nice sturdy metal so once you do get them sharpened how you like, I'd imagine they would be useful for a long time.
