easy to assemble and fun to change expressions.

This toy requires assembly which I suck at. So if you don’t want to assemble anything this isn’t the toy for you. Other than that my son loved it.

I got this for my little ones upcoming birthday. He loves the minions! I really like that this toy needs to be assembled. It adds to the creativity. The figure will be rather large once it is assembled. Everything seems to be in the box. So far, I'm loving it! If we have any issues with it once he opens it, I'll update my review.

So far, I’ve assembled Tim (the worst to assemble), Dave and Jerry. None are easy. Directions are unclear (I watched videos several times, but some of fine details can’t be seen), and video is over-simplified presentation…. I even got my husband to try to pressure the pieces to get them to come together, but he couldn’t even do it.And when assembling Tim, good luck trying to do it the way they show you in the video, holding it in a flat hand. Getting those legs in is not easy.

Fun toy for me to build and then fun for my Minion loving 3 year old to play with after. Love how many things you can change on it, especially the spinning mouth. Easy to assemble.

I got this for my kids (5 & 7) who are newly fascinated by the minions. This Jerry is a great design and I appreciate all the details from his rock pattern to the expressions and the posing ability. My kids enjoy periodically swapping his eyes and mouth and hands. The bouncy legs were a bit of a surprise but also a fun feature.We enjoyed the opportunity to assemble this kind of figure together. It gives us a new understanding of how some of our premade toys are constructed too! I don't think the instructions provide enough guidance though-- there is a diagram but no mention of step-by-step order/process. However with my adult help we were able to figure it out easily enough in about 10 minutes (I'm well experienced with this kind of activity). I would definitely recommend parental supervision if assembling with young kids. There are certain steps that need to happen first so that they can interlock, and kids might rush into assembly out of order or force things in the wrong slots. The official age is 8+ so it may be okay for that age. I hear there are assembly videos available, we didn't realize that at the time and they aren't referenced in the packagingIt falls somewhere between a model and a toy. I think you can play with it like an action figure if you're not too rough. If you throw or drop it some of the parts might disconnect. But it's not purely a display model either.One minor improvement could also be in the mouth designs. There are four mouths but two are identical. All four are basically grimaces or roars. It would be nice if there was one mouth with a different kind of expression... happy, silly, etc.Overall we are very happy with the toy and satisfied with the assembly experience.

After waiting 3+ weeks for the item to arrive, then finding out it needs a special battery to light, that coincidentally isn't sold in stores, we receive the battery and... NOTHING. Nothing happens. Nothing lights up. Thanks a lot

very easy to build and put together, love the added of the banana and storage spot for it. wish the instructions had a bit of color, son had trouble finding a black disk part in the black plastic container because he didnt know it was black lol.

My son had recently watched the movie and loves this toy. The assembly was a bit finicky, but once it was together it feels very solid and doesn't seem like it will come apart. I think my biggest complaint is that the additional eyes and hands are almost certainly going to get lost as there is no storage with the toy itself to keep them.
