Active Orthotics Night Splint for The Treatment of Plantar Fasciitis Achilles tendonitis Drop Foot

I have had plantar fasciitis on and off for quite a while,which has now developed into a sore achilles also.Whilst i can manage a short run with the correct type of trainers and insoles,when i get out of bed the next day it is very uncomfortable to walk on my left foot,particularly the heel which are classic symptoms of this condition.It does ease off during the day but is a recurring problem.Having used the night splint for a couple of nights there has been a huge improvement when i get out of bed in the morning,yes i can still feel some slight discomfort and i don't expect the night splint to cure the issue on its own,but is far less severe and i can walk immediately without limping for an hour.I ordered the bigger size (mens) and was a bit worried it might not fit as i'm anything from a size 12 to 14 depending on the shoes and have quite wide feet but it fits perfectly.In use it doesn't feel uncomfortable,it is not designed to stretch the foot,but to hold it at 90 degrees and although it is quite bulky i have managed to sleep ok.I would recommend giving it a try if you have plantar fasciitis,for the price it's worth a go,i have seen the same night splint on other websites for well over twice the price and it appears to be very well made.

I decided to purchase this due to ongoing issues with foot pain due to tendon issues. I'll start by giving you an insight into what lead up to me making my purchase.............I'd been experiencing pain in my right foot for around 2 years, exactly when it came on? I couldn't say, but it was something that happened over time and progressively got worse and worse depending on what I was doing. I'm an active guy, I play rugby and also enjoy cycling, running and gym work as well as having an active job that has me up and about for long periods, so my foot issue was really getting me down and affecting my ability to train and even walk sometimes. After seeking help from a local physio firm, I underwent numerous physio and ultrasound sessions that, although helped immensely to relieve the worst of the issue, there was still that niggling that just wouldn't go away.At this point I was feeling the most discomfort first thing in the morning. We all stiffen up while we sleep and need a good yawn and stretch in the morning, but my foot was taking that bit longer to get working again. I then started looking online at various supports and socks to see if there was anything that could aid this final push to full recovery. I saw this item and after doing a bit of reading up and asking my physio what he thought, decided to try it. I've been using this for about 2 months now and I've got to say it has helped a lot. It helps to hold my foot in a flexed/stretched position over night meaning mornings are a lot easier and the discomfort in my foot is now minimal. It took a few goes to find the right tightness for the straps, I found at first I was waking with pins and needles, but once you've got it set right its all good.One negative, but its a small one that I found a fix for, is the straps sometimes cause the skin underneath to become sore. I've found that wearing a rugby sock sorts that out no problem.All in all, very happy with this. I will stress to anyone experiencing issues like this to speak to a physio or your doctor before purchasing. Everyone's different and what works for some might not be whats right for you and your injury.

I have severe Plantar fasciitis. Last week it was so bad that I couldn't walk at all (even with walking sticks) and was taken to the casualty because of the severe pain. I was only given painkiller and they didn't work.I have so many gadgets for this condition ...some good and some not. I saw this boot and thought I would give it a go. I wasn't actually holding up much hope but I am so so sure it is this boot that has sorted my foot out.It is not comfortable to start with and after two hours in bed, I had to take it off. I kept trying each night and now (and I am touching wood!!) not only can I walk but I am pain-free.It says to wear it to bed but in the afternoon I do put in on for a couple of hours (resting)as this helps me to get used to it.last night, my husband and I went out for a meal and I wore heels!!...... I haven't been able to wear my heels for a couple of years now so I was over the moon.As I said, it is uncomfortable to start with but if you persevere then it just might be your answer....it was mine!

I'm an 8.5 so I bought the large and probably should have gone for medium as I have thin legs so its a little big on me.I wear it at night in bed, I can tell its there but it is comfortable and doesn't affect my sleep pattern.It has had a beneficial effect, I can walk now when I first get up!Only had it for a week so it hasn't cured my problem but certainly makes my Achilles feel looser in the morning.If you have Achilles problems its worth it.

I have had Plantar Fascitis for 2 years that was getting worse in my left foot. I tried most things, stretching exercises, physio, shockwave treatment, heel supports, and sock supports and massage balls and they all partially worked, then I tried this night splint as the massage balls and stretching gave me some relief and I thought this might do the same. Just 2 nights wearing it and NO MORE plantar fascitis, couldn't believe it . I could kiss the inventor. I am normally sceptical about these things but I thought hell, why not,they are pretty cheap and .I had seen enough YouTube clips about them. Being an old crock, I am now seeing what it will do for my sore Achilles in my right ankle. I would give it more stars if I could. I normally wore a sock and pyjamas with it to make it more comfortable at night.

Da ich vor 4 Wochen einen Achillessehnenabriss hatte wollte ich zum Schlafen den großen und schweren AIRCAST® AIRSELECT™ ELITE WALKER austauschen. Die orthopädische Nachtschiene ist leicht und auch viel luftiger. Der erste Eindruck war überraschen angenehm- Schiene angelegt und ab ins Bett. Die Schiene drück etwas an anderen Stellen. Eingeschlafen und um ca. 4:00 Uhr aufgewacht. Starke Schmerzen an der operierten Sehne. Der Winkel der Schiene ist etwas zu steil und die Sehne wird nicht entlastet. Leider lässt sich am Hacken keine Absatzerhöhung einlegen. Das Polster ist gegen verrutschen mit Klettband gesichert und kann nicht angehoben werden. Der PREIS ist schon super günstig. Ich werde es weiter versuchen. Es wird schon werden. :-)

La férula está muy y me está sirviendo para tratar mi tendinitis. Voy mejorando. El único problema que le veo es que no se le puede dar la vuelta a las cinchas. Quiero decir que como lo uso en la pierna derecha, el cierre me queda por la parte de fuera y no llego a cerrarlas yo, con lo que necesito ayuda para ponérmela y no siempre es posible.

E' perfetto per trattare la fascite plantare, perchè lascia il piede in posizione perpendicolare senza dare fastidio durantre il sonno. Il giorno dopo non si avverte quel fastidioso dolore al tallone appena si pogfgia il piede sul pavimento dovuto all'atrofizzarsi della fascia plantare.Consigliatissimo

Souffrant d’enthésopathie à l’insertion de l’aponévrose plantaire (avec un œdème détecté seulement à l’IRM) depuis près d’un an, et après avoir essayé tous les traitements disponibles (mis à part encore les injections de PRP et l’injection de cortisone sous échographie) et essuyé leur relative inefficacité, je me suis finalement résigné à acheter cette prothèse de nuit dans l’espoir de pouvoir neutraliser définitivement cette pathologie qui s’est installée dans la durée. D’autant que le prix de ce produit sur Amazon, même s’il n’est pas remboursé par la Sécurité Sociale, défie toute concurrence !L’ayant reçu ce jour, je ne puis pour l’instant témoigner de son efficacité (ou pas), par contre, je ne peux que souligner l’excellent rapport qualité-prix quant aux matériaux utilisés et le confort du pied et du mollet. Je suis agréablement surpris car je pensais qu’il s’agissait quasiment d’un instrument de torture, d’où ma réticence à l’avoir acheté en premier lieu jusqu’ici.Je dormirai avec ce soir pour la première fois mais le confort est là, donc je ne pense pas avoir de problèmes pour trouver le sommeil avec...Surtout si je venais à remarquer une amélioration de la douleur / pathologie demain après ce premier port nocturne !

J'ai commandé ce produit suite à une attaque violente de fascite plantaire dans mon pied droit. J'ai recu le produit assez rapidement (à peu près 5 jours alors que je suis client Prime). Je l'ai porté la premiere nuit et le lendemain matin, 90pcent de mes symptômes avaient disparu. et 48 heures après, tout était rentré dans l'ordre. J'ai continué à l'utiliser pendant 15 jours et maintenant, tout est fini ! Instructions en anglais uniquement et peu claires pour etre honnête. Il y a un morceau de mousse noir genre morceau de fromage qui était joint à la commande et dont je ne sais toujours pas quel est son utilité !!

En fait, je ne critiquerai pas l'objet qui a une autre fonction que celle pour laquelle je souhaitais l'utiliser. C'est fait au départ pour les fascites plantaires. Moi j'ai juste besoin d'un maintien de mon talon dans l'axe pour dormir j'ai un souci de sous-astragalienne. Autrement dit il me faut plutôt du sur-mesures. Ce que je regrette quand même c'est que l'objet est un peu trop surdimensionné et que même en serrant les sangles au maximum, on se sent un peu flotter dedans. Je chausse du 41, ceci explique cela, mais comme c'est sensé être multi-tailles.

Je la porte la nuit, pendant une sieste ou un film. Ca garde la plante du pied (un peu) étirée. Donc au réveil, beaucoup moins de douleurs! Même dès la 1ère utilisation! Je ne sais pas si ça SOIGNE la maladie mais, en tout cas, ça soulage bien les douleurs. C'est rigide avec sangles protégées par de la mousse. Les sangles sont très peu réglables (mais il ne faut pas plus), elles se clipsent facilement du côté droit (quand on la porte) de l'attelle. Elle est légère et n'empêche pas un bon sommeil (même pour ceux qui bougent beaucoup).Ce n'est pas glamour mais je ne regrette pas cet achat!

après avoir utilisé différentes attelles, celle ci présente la particularité d'être plus large que mon pied, ce qui fait que celui ci a l'abri de tout contact avec la literie la nuit.... ai un souci d'algoneurodystrophie, et mes nuits écourtées, ou scindées. Là je dors .... et vais récupérer.... dommage que pas le choix du pied car le système de fixation à l'externe pour moi, et je pense que si les clips étaient face interne, plus facile à mettre.

Depuis des mois je souffre d'une aponévrosite et tout ce que j'ai tenté pour me soulager n'a pas fonctionné notamment les ondes de chocs. Mais je commence à aller mieux grâce à des étirements dans la journée et le port de ce "machin" la nuit. Ce n'est pas vraiment glamour mais pour moi cela fonctionne. Que demander de plus?

Parfait :Légère et facile d'entretien.Après des semaines de séances kiné sans résultat, cette attelle m'a permis de soulager une aponévrosite plantaire sévère en quelques nuits d'utilisation. je n'y croyais plus.Merci :)
