Now I did as precaution use a vey small zip tie to hold it in the middle in the event of a bump i didn't want it to shift and hit the props just for my own piece of mind, over 100 successful flights with it on zero issue or movement 2 crashes zero damage ! Review: Saved My Drone - I’m still learning to fly drones (in manual mode) and shortly before this purchase I had crashed my Avata 2, snapping a propeller and denting the middle frame in certain spots around that prop. I sent it away for repair (DJI Care Refresh is amazing btw!) and purchased these for a little extra protection. Just knowing they were on the drone gave me extra confidence - and I crashed again a few flights later. My first crash (no guard) was a 2/10, it bumped into a metal goalpost at 10kmph and fell about 15m to the grass. My second crash with these guard protectors on was about a 7.5/10, hitting the same post at 20kmph and losing control, repeatedly slamming into the grass and accelerating back into the air for about 80m until it hit a tree and finally disabled the motors, falling 10m onto a brick surface. Total damage? A thin pencil-sized gouge on the top frame, a cracked prop, and grass/leaves wedges into the guards. The prop even hung in long enough to turtle mode and fly back to me before being replaced! There’s obviously no way I can say “the guards definitely saved me from a repair/replacement” but I can say that I’m very confident that is true. I sadly lost one of the bumpers in the carnage and couldn’t locate it, so I returned here to buy another that wasn’t black (to be easier to locate if lost). However, only the black type was available domestically so I bought the same type/brand in red from another seller with overnight delivery. Other than the availability of all colours, I certainly recommend these to anyone who is learning or just wants a little protection around their drone! ## Features - 【Compatibility】The Protective Cover is specially designed for DJI Avata 2 Propeller Guard. - 【Full Protection】This Avata 2 propeller guard protector features a fortress design that absorbs shock and protects the Avata 2 drone from accidentally hitting trees, walls, or any other obstacles. - 【Quick Installation】The prop bumper ring Install with no tools and snap to the Avata 2 propeller guard, which is convenient and easy to install, and will not scratch the drone body. - 【Reliable Quality】High-quality silicone materials, lightweight, high strength, good toughness, effectively cushion the impact, and it will not affect the normal flight for dji Avata 2 explorer combo drone. - 【Packing List】2*Protective Bumper Ring Compatible with DJI Avata 2 Propeller Guard. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0D3VGZBZW | | Batteries Included | No | | Batteries Required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #18,598 in Electronics (See Top 100 in Electronics) #65 in Drones & Accessories | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (209) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Date First Available | 20 May 2024 | | Material Type S | Silicone | | Package Dimensions | 20.4 x 9.7 x 2.21 cm; 59 g | ## Product Details - **Brand:** FSIDIWT - **Colour:** Black - **Included components:** 2*Protective Bumper Ring for DJI Avata 2 Propeller Guard - **Item weight:** 0.06 Kilograms - **Model name:** Avata 2 Protective Bumper Ring ## Images ![Avata 2 Propeller Protector, Anti-collision Silicone Protective Ring for DJI Avata 2 Accessories (Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61+fRiVrk5L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great accessorie for the avata 2 *by N***N on 20 May 2025* Fit well, looks good, did not affect flight in any way.
