Irrigator Pro 429024 Poly Impulse Sprinkler Head, Black

I bought 4 of these to replace the sprinkler heads on my sewer sprinklers. When I screwed the head into my risers until it was tight enough not to leak, the sprinkler would not turn. These have pipe threads and are supposed to tighten before they bottom out in the female fitting, but I had to screw them all the way down until they bottomed out on the hex plastic nut on the sprinkler head. Something is not right. I will try wrapping the threads with teflon tape to see if it keeps them from bottoming out and binding the rotating mechanism.

Right out of the package this sprinkler would not hold it's position. One of the auto stops (that change the direction of the sprinkler) was too loose and would not stay in place. You can see in the photo that the stop ring is too big. It should not show any space between the two rings. When the sprinkler came around and hit this to change directions it just pushed the ring and kept going in the same direction.

Works on low pressure

As noted by another reviewer, it works well with low pressure.

It stopped oscillating after the first day.
