Listen up! You need this album right now!
Hope my title grabbed your attention!Quite simply, if you are a fan of melodic hard rock, then you need to purchase this album right now.Every track is superb, it'll have you jumping from your seat for more.Stunning vocals, superb guitar work, both musically and lyrically perfect, this album is quite simply sublime. From the opening rocker "Look Out Below" to Power Ballads "Crushed" and "Fragile," Closure have every trick covered, this album hits every spot required.Interestigly, lead single Brian Howes may not be familiar to you, but as well as being a exceptionally talented singer/songwriter, he's also produced sucessful albums for the likes of Hinder, Chris Daughtry, Puddle of Mudd and Skillet.Despite credits like that to his name and this truly amazing album, it failed commercially and Closure were dropped from TVT records in 2006, just before the label themselves went bankrupt.Such a disappointment this album is not well known, the likely-hood of another Closure album is unknown without label support, but should another one surface, it'll have some job to beat this.Awesome record.Track Picks: "Oxygen" "Crushed," "Live Again"

What an Album
What an Album!!! one of the finest in my collection! and i have alot of records! Tracks 1 through to 11 are amazing. Opens with the amazing song 'look out below' which is a good hard track...then the rest of the songs on the album have there own flavour but still a good hard melodic rock. My personal favourite song is track 2 called 'Afterglow' a great intro to the song and nice verse then a pounding chorus! Every song on the album is a little different and rocks in an entirely different way, theres lots of emotion in this album from love to hate! a great way to write songs....closure are amongst the best bands out there and i want to see them in UK!My opinions out of 10 for each song on the album are below1.) Look out Below - 9/102.) Afterglow - 10/10 **best song**3.) Oxygen - 10/104.) whats it all about - 9/105.) whatever made you - 8.5/106.) Crushed - 6/10 (weak song on album)7.) Lie to me - 8/108.) Live again - 10/109.) I dont mind (the rain) 10/1010.) Fragile - 8/1011.) You are my hated 8/10BUY THIS ALBUM - listen to sound clips on amazon.com and see for yourself

True Quality
I've never seen a debut album like this. Every song will get you singing along to it. They're one of those bands, that when they come on next in your playlist you can't help getting excited. In contrary to the previous reviewer, I find Crushed to be one of the best songs. It had an immediate impact on me, and the power of Look Out Below is incredible. They might be slightly american High School stylie with Afterglow and Oxygen, but as two of the strongest songs on the album this clearly doesn't matter.A great mixture of fast rock and passionate rythem, you'll love every song here.

Great CD, and yes, it can be ripped with iTunes
I bought this CD from Amazon in April 2005. The music is solid and I definitely like their sound. But the real reason I'm writing this review is to disagree with the reviewer who claims that this CD cannot be "ripped": Perhaps some versions of this CD cannot be ripped--or some software doesn't rip it--but I had no problems ripping the CD using iTunes. I have the full contents burned onto several CDs and on my two iPods (one at work, one for travelling).

Won't be Sorry
How many times have you bought a CD for a great song only to find out the rest of the cd stinks. Not so with Closure. I heard "Look Out Below" on the Darkness Falls movie and was hooked. I ran out to FYE only to find they didn't carry it. Thank goodness for Amazon. You will not be sorry, I haven't found one song that I don't like. Hope to hear more from this band.

Another Great Unknown
I'm surprised how sometimes the most unknown band can actually be pretty good. I heard Closure a very long time ago on Internet radio and their single "Look Out Below" grabbed me right away and has yet to let go. 2 years later I still hold that song close to my heart and I don't really know why. I'm not the one to usually decipher lyrics but this song just seems so powerful. Anyway, after hearing "Look Out Below" I felt the need to check out what else this band has to offer. I wasn't disappointed. The whole album is great. My favorite tracks are "Look Out Below", "Oxygen", "Afterglow", "Lie To Me". Here's the ratings for the rest of the tracks...1. Look Out Below - *10/102. Afterglow - 10/103. Oxygen - 10/104. What Its All About - 10/105. Whatever Made You - 10/106. Crushed - 10/107. Lie To Me - 10/108. Live Again - 9/109. I Don't Mind (The Rain) - 10/1010. Fragile - 9.5/1011. You Are My Hatred - 10/10Overall: 98% AThis was probably one of the best unknown albums I have found because almost every track is catchy and can be played and enjoyed out of sync with the rest of the album. The only con with this album is that you tend to get sick of it after frequent listening. Other than that It's still really good for anyone out there looking for new modern rock music to get their hands on.

Very Very Very Impressive
I first heard the song 'Look Out Below' in the movie Darkness Falls. Since that day, it took me about five months to finally track this band down. I had no idea what the name of the song was, no idea what the name of the band was, etc. When I finally found out who it was...and that they had an entire CD out, I bought it without thinking twice.I am not sorry I did that.Closure is the total package of straight up, honest rock. Incredible vocals, great guitar, good basslines, great drums. Their songs deal with mostly emotional problems caused by girls (which is usually a huge pet peeve of mine) but that doesn't really matter here because the lyrics are really well-constructed, and the music is just so good. I'd tell you favorites off the CD, but to be honest, every single song is just as good as the last one, and still are. This CD is still in heavy rotation in my CD player, and I haven't gotten sick of it. I've been listening to it for five months almost. That's how awesome these guys are. It's like a ten dollar CD. Do yourself a favor and buy it. You won't listen to another album for quite a while.

Very Pleased
I buy a lot of albums, and one of my biggest complaints comes when a band releases a single which is really catchy, you go out and buy the CD, and the rest of the songs do not even sound like the same band. It's the Single Syndrome. I hate it. I am sure alot of others do too.Closure is a solid, consistent band who made a CD that contains 11 great songs. They have a crunchy, rough sound with just enough polish to make it complete.'Look Out Below' was their first single, and a good indication of what you'll get out of the CD. Other high points (there are no low points, really) are 'Afterglow', 'What It's All About' 'Crushed (my favorite)' and 'You Are My Hatred'Sure, some people aren't going to like this. Most likely this will be because it doesn't fit their personal style. Think along the lines of Nickelback, Fuel, Die Trying, and Three Doors Down. These guys don't sound like copies of these bands, they have their own original style, but the target audience is similar.Buy this CD. You won't be disappointed.
