This gorilla toy reminded me of the stretch armstrongs from back in the day - which most every kid loved. While it's nearly just as fun, the quality isn't quite what I remember. The rubber on the outside is a little thin, and I'm worried my 4yo will rip it fairly quickly. Hopefully it will last a while though. He's had it for a little over a week now and it's held up mostly fine - I don't see any big rips in it yet but a lot of the paint has started to peel off already. The material inside is soft and squishy, which feels nice. It's fun to play with and has a good amount of stretch to it. Overall, my kids enjoy playing with it and will have fun with it while it lasts. It could also make a good gift, but you'll want to consider repackaging it - it comes in a clear plastic bag, and that's it.

Fun sand- stuffed gorilla toy that you can stretch, toss, squish, punch, and shake! The sound of the sand when you pinch and grab it is described by my kids as “so satisfying.” This is a weighty toy and feels pretty sturdy. It’s going to be a great stress reliever when I start my next semester of grad school as I know I’ll be wanting to stretch, squish, and punch something. May as well be this gorilla! :)

I had high hopes for this fun sensory toy for my son on the autism spectrum. The monkey can bend, stretch, twist and feels moldable like wet sand. Its fun to play with and make silly faces with the monkey as you push and pull his face into different expressions. The monkey even feels slightly weighted due to the wet sand filling inside. The biggest and only downfall to this toy is after only having it for one day my son had bit a hole in it and the entire thing was covered in sand that's how I know whats inside. So unfortunately not a safe toy for kids on the spectrum with the potential to bite or chew the toy.

The gorilla toy was packed in just a bag and then shipped in a another bag. It's okay but it won't last long. The material seems thin and like it will wear out or tear very quickly with regular play. Within a few minutes of stretching and gentle play, nothing rough, the paint on the toy began to peel off. It does have great stretching and squeezing ability but it's not very durable feeling.

My kids really like this toy. The dog also really wants to play with it, but it would not be suitable for that. It is fun, but there are quality issues. The first time it was thrown on the floor to flatten it the eyes started coming off. Considering this is supposed to be designed for such play, it doesn't bode well for the long term durability of it. I guess time will tell.

I cannot stop dropping this thing off of my balcony into my driveway. Loads of fun for kids and adults who are kids at heart. It's also very fun to squish the sand around inside it.An excellent stress relieving fidget toy that lowers my blood pressure to see it get thrown around and squished flat on the ground.

…over the next few days. Got this as a birthday gift for my nephew and all they boys have taken a liking to it. It’s only been a day but this gorilla has held up to quite a bit of rough play. There seems to be a little damage around the joints of the arms but I can’t take off top many points as these children are HARD on toys. I hope that it lasts because the my are enjoying it immensely, but I’m not positive that it’s of a quality to stand up to their shenanigans. For now though. It’s a hit and they’ve gotten hours of fun out of this stretchy gorill.

This toy is for my 8 year old daughter, but it's so satisfying I can't stop squeezing it haha. It's really sturdy too
