Nice
A great alternative to almost identical item that is sold by Starbucks. Twice less expensive, does the same job. Love the shape and design!

Extremely fast heated water!
This electric kettle is absolutely amazing to have around for teas and coffees. We do daily pour over coffees and we’ve been using this to heat our water. We are very pleased with the build quality and the overall heating up time. It’s extremely easy to clean and maintain. The form factor is great. It’s compact and it’s easily on our countertops. And looks quite nice. I did get the black coated kettle, and the only downfall is that the coding does chip off if you are to ding it. So for me, I would probably suggest going in after the plain stainless Kettle.Outside of that, I am very pleased with this unit and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Great price point.

Great material, great look
Kettle’s material is really good, qualitative stainless steel. Also handles colors and materials give great look to the kettle. Used couple of times and it’s really easy to use with lots of functions and accurate temperature readings. Went through other kettle as well but this find comparably cheap and high in quality. Really happy with the purchase.

Good if you need the capacity but temps are off
TL;DRPros: large capacity, it works fine for pour overs. Cons: may get the wrong color, temps are off, need instructions to figure out how to do more than just turn on and heat water, material is a little thin, handle isn’t wood, no min fill line, not always easy to redock—Larger capacity gooseneck kettle, which is nice if you need to make more than 2 small (10-oz) cups of coffee at a time. It's got actual images of the types of drinks appropriate for each preset temp! That’s cool! However, the heating seems a little inconsistent, like the kettle isn’t always aware that either it hasn’t hit the target temp yet or that it’s not heating (you can hear when it’s trying to heat up and see what temp it’s at), so it’ll stall a bit at, say 183 degrees (I tend to use the coffee setting, which is 200 degrees), then resume, which makes it take a lot longer to get to temp.Another drawback is that the temp reading is off by about 8 degrees. I noticed that my cup of coffee was a lot hotter (and that the kettle sounded like it was boiling) when I set it for 203 degrees, so I took the temp and confirmed the discrepancy.Definitely do not lose the instruction manual! I managed to misplace it and now I have no idea ho whether just hitting “Keep Warm” will return the temp to the original setting or not (maybe?) or how to change the temp I want it to be kept warm at. To me, the flashing doesn’t mean anything intuitively (does it mean to click on it to activate? does it mean that it’s changeable now?).The lid is thin metal, which is typical of cheaper kettles and allows steam to condense in it, so that when you take it off, it drips water everywhere. My last kettle had a lid that was filled in, which allowed it to not only not collect water, but also direct steam away from my fingers. The handle is kind of rubbery. Good for grip, but clearly not real wood. There’s a Max fill line, but not a Min one.Sometimes, it’s hard to redock the kettle to the base. It’d be nice if there was some visual to help. And, of course, I received the wrong color. If it weren’t for the larger capacity, I would probably have gone back to using my other, more straightforward kettle already because do I really need things to be more difficult this early in the morning?
