Woowo Wii to HDMI 480p Converter Adapter Wii2 HDMI 3.5mm Audio Box Wii-link

We dug out our old Wii, checked out how bad the graphics looked on a 50" flat screen, then put this Adapter in the back of it .. and WOW it transforms the quality into 480P, so we then spent hours more playing some old favorites on the Wii. (we still went into the Wii menu on the opening screen to check / enable the EHTV 480P mode, but it appeared to be automatically set)

Works great on my HDMI computer monitor. I'm so pleased. The picture quality is the quality of the original Wii. It's an old console so don't expect miracles in terms of graphic quality.

Very simple. Replaces the composite lead. Plug in an HDMI, and the picture and audio work seamlessly on the new telly. The Wii is now being played on a bedroom TV. First time it has been used for a few years.

Worked fine with Wii games, but as soon as you try to play games within the Wii virtual console such as Mario Kart or Sonic (SNES and Megadrive games) the screen just goes black. Reading the reviews of similar items I think this is a common issue.. and not the fault of the TV I’m using (I tried it on 3 different TVs and a monitor)

Running on a 4k 55 inch TV its never going to be perfect but it upscales to an acceptable quality to be able to play Mario Karts again.

Adaptador que funciona y que cumple su función tal y como se espera. Aunque la calidad del plástico no dé la sensación de calidad.Pero si eso está bien, el precio ya está muy bien. Muy barato, como todos estos genéricos.Eso sí, tardó algo en llegar.Pero si no es urgente, merece la pena pues el ahorro es grande y el cacharrito cumple lo que promete.

Wii専用HDMIコンバーターは多種多様な製品が登録されていますが、どれもこれもレビューでの評判がよろしくない・・・曰く、720Pや1080Pへのアップスケールを謳いながらもただの「引き伸ばし」だった。解像度切り替えスイッチ搭載としながらも、これが穴だけ開いてるダミーだった。すぐに壊れた、最初から動作しなかった・・・etcこれでは安心して買おうという気にもなれませんです ^^;そんな中、本製品は「NTSC 480i / 480p」に対応と明示されており、アップスケールを行うという「ウソ」がない。切り替えスイッチ的なものもない（っぽい）。少なくとも画面表示という最低限のことはやってくれそうな雰囲気です。しかもお値段は購入日現在で最安値。これならハズレでもダメージが少ないかなと思い、購入してみることにしたのです。で、待つこと2週間、忘れた頃に届きました。この商品は中国大陸から直送されてきたのですが、中国の大型連休「春節」を挟んじゃったのが良くなかったみたい。通常はもう少し早く届くと思われます。さて、届いたモノには商品画像と違って「Wii2HDMI / Full HD 1080p」と青文字でプリントされていました。切り替えスイッチっぽい「穴」もあります（ただしダミーでしょう）。他のショップさんで取り扱っているものと全く同じに見える・・・。でも外箱には「NTSC 480i 480p PAL576i」とだけ書かれています。正解は後者の説明書き通り、フルHD対応ではありません。ダマされないぞ ^^;本製品をWiiのお尻に装着し、HDMIケーブルでフルHDの液晶モニタに接続。・・・してみたところ、あっさりと画面表示してくれました。ソフトによってはインターレースモードでは正常出力されないようなので、Wiiの設定はプログレッシブモード固定にしておくと良いでしょう。画質に関しては・・・ぼんやりと曖昧な印象。元々高くはない解像度を引き延ばしているので、この辺が限界なのでしょうか。コンポジット（赤白黄ケーブル）でテレビに接続した際よりは確実に明瞭。D端子やコンポーネントに近いか、ちょっと劣る・・・と言ったところでしょうか。何であれ、電源要らずで直結できるのは嬉しいことですし、これで満足しようと思っています。※直接比較できる環境がないので、飽くまでも目視しての個人的感想です。接続するテレビやモニタによっても印象が異なるでしょう。いずれにしても、ゲームをプレイする分には問題のない画質が確保されていると思います。3.5mmプラグのオーディオ同時出力端子があるので、これをAVアンプに繋いで音声出力してみました。恐らくは本来のアナログオーディオを素通ししているだけだと思いますので、ソフトによってはドルビーサラウンドにも対応可能かと（耳での判断なのでイマイチ自信がないですが・・・）製品としての満足度は★3.5くらいかな。しかし、商品説明に書かれていることはキチンと実現できているし、800円台という安値で購入できた点を加味して★5評価とさせていただきます。
