I’ve been 3D printing for a while and finally decided to invest in a proper filament dryer, and I’m really glad I chose the Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer Plus. The build quality is solid, and it looks great on the workbench. One of the best features is the capacity for two spools, which is perfect for longer prints or keeping multiple materials dry and ready to go. It fits standard 1.75mm spools easily, and the interior space is well-designed. Drying performance is excellent. The 360° hot-air circulation and built-in fan really make a difference. I noticed improved print quality, especially with hygroscopic materials like PETG and TPU. It’s also very quiet in operation compared to my previous Sunlu S2 dryer, which is a bonus if you’re working in the same room. The temperature and timer settings are easy to use, and the display is clear and responsive. It gives you full control over the drying process depending on the material you're using. I've been running it for several hours at a time, and it keeps the temperature consistent throughout. Overall, this dryer is a great addition to any 3D printing setup. It does exactly what it's supposed to, and it does it well. If you’re serious about print quality and want to protect your filament from moisture, this is absolutely worth the investment.

I’ve been using the Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer Plus mainly for PETG to reduce stringing, and I’ve been very happy with the results. It’s noticeably more accurate in both temperature and humidity readings compared to my previous dryer, which made a real difference in print quality. Although it doesn’t have a built‑in vent to release moist air, opening the lid occasionally has been enough to keep it working effectively. I’ve also used it with ABS and TPU without any issues — both dried consistently and printed well afterwards. For the price, it’s a solid and reliable dryer, and unlike some others I’ve tried, this one is definitely a keeper.

This does a great job at removing moisture. I found that pouring desiccant into the bottom tray deals with opening and closing the unit between cycles. A full cycle even cooks the desiccant back to normal (if you buy that type). I would give it higher marks if it was even half good at feeding my printer. There are a lot of variables with this problem, but the feed holes the unit has are in the wrong place. Even sitting right beside my printer, the feed tension is so high the printer cannot advance the roll. More important, don't buy 1KG rolls, this unit handle the smaller spool's better. If you have a empty 250G spool, manually wind it and put inside this unit, works great. Full 1KG spool's just don't feed, even with the supplied teflon tubing.

I wanted a dry my PET CF filament, and yes the tempteatures this unti can reach are too low, 65 deg C when I needed higher. But that side it would work for the other various filaments I use so it would be useful regardless. The good news was my printed PEF CF parts went from ragged and rough to a fantastic textured surface with no visable layers after drying for 12 hrs at 65 deg C. So it does exactly what I wanted. Another bonus is it can dry two filaments at once and be used as an external spool while keeping the filament dry and warm while printing. Pretty sure this is where the previous (8hr plus) attempts to print PET CF failed as the layers got progressively worse. Sits neatly beside my Bambu Carbon like its mini me. Nice modern clean design. Comes with two nylon tubes that can feed from the top or 45 degrees to the rear into your printer. The down side is the touch screen controls, they are not great and dont always work correctly resulting in switching off, waiting a while and switching back on again. This is such a shame because otherwise this is a great product.

It works as expected takes a good 6+ HR to dry filament

This has upped my 3D printing, the output has a better surface finish and less failed prints. I feed filament direct into my 3D printer from this unit

Great filament drier. Useful 48 hour timer and space for two reels. The bearings are a bit noisy starting up but the unit works great.

Sehr einfach zu handhaben. Trocknet gut und dient auch gleichzeitig als Abwicklung zum drucken, so dass gewährleistet bleibt, das das Filament trocken ist.
