Best product to remove brassy tones from gray hair.
When I decided to stop dying my hair, I decided to allow my wisdom highlights (that’s what I call gray hair) to grow in naturally. I was having trouble keeping the strands white. Gray hair is porous and seems to take on the color of whatever touches it. When I started using this product, it worked like magic. I shampoo my hair in the shower, apply this conditioner, let it sit about five minutes and rinse out. No more yellow or brassy tones.

Happily surprised
Simply put, it worked to remove yellow tones from my gray hair. I used it 2 consecutive weeks and got good results. Still a small amount of yellow tones, but much improvements.

Great for gray hair.
I let my gray hair grow out and was thinking about relaxing it, but changed my mind. I already bought this conditioner and decided to use it on my natural hair anyway. It really does a nice job making my gray hair color pop and makes it soft. I only use it about twice a month when my gray hair starts looking a little dull.

Hasn't worked for me. Also think I'm sensitive so stopped using.
I made a mistake and bought two of these thinking one was shampoo. Anyway it does not work for me. But nothing has including several brands of the hiddeous purples shampoos and conditioners. I just lopped off 8 -9 inches of hair as it was getting below my waist and the entire bunch was very YELLOW. Some of the closer to the scalp is not nearly as bad. I didn't used to have any problem with yellowing then a few years ago I used a mud like product for hair that was kind of very yellow and a big name brand too and I had used it a few times and no problem. But my hair was drying out in my Infared sauna and so I decided to add it to my wet hair to see if that helped. Well it turned my hair YELLOW. I couldn't get it out. By now I've cut the original yellowing off because my hair grows fast but it remains a battle with yellowing? I told my husband I think I'm turning blonde again:))) He just laughs. I really love my silver hair however as a lot of us ladies do and I turned grey early in life and would love to get it back. But this just didn't do it. By the way at least one of the purple brands also causes sensitivity. I'm sensitive to a lot of detergent type products including laundry soaps and lysol sanitizer so this is not new. I think I would have put up with it if I'd seen any results at all but no help at all and actually I thought it dulled my hair which despite the yellowing it's always shiny and highlighted and I'm right now hoping to get it back to that by going back to my old reliable products that don't cause skin reactions.
