Love this swaddler
My son has been in this swaddler since he came home from the hospital and loves it. The velcro sections cover a large enough area that you can really get the swaddling nice and tight, you can swaddle arms in or arms out, and there are seperate tabs to wrap around the belly to provide that nice pressure on the belly for gas or colic, the tabs are seperate from those that wrap around the arms. There is a cushion in the back of the swaddler that provides some structure, unlike the Summer Swaddlers, and makes it feel almost like you are carrying the baby in a papoose when they are swaddled in it. It says it reduces Flat Head Syndrome, not sure about that but there is an extra padded section under the babies head that is like a slightly raised donut so I guess baby's head doesn't sit flat on the mattress like other swaddlers or blanket sleepers. Overall, I love this because my son loves it and it helps him sleep and what more could a new mom ask for than that. In the hospital he loved the Summer Swaddlepod Summer Infant Swaddlepod, 0-3 Months ,Ivory and now this works like magic.

Love this!
When I first received this I laughed because it looked like a straight jacket - especially with the foam "board" in the back. About 6 weeks in we decided to start using it and coincidentally he started sleeping longer (before we were swaddling him with traditional blankets). I ended up taking the foam board out and just use it without. We've been using them for about 6 weeks now and I feel like the velcro is wearing a little bit. I'm afraid it won't last until he grows out of it! We wash them several times a week though.
