Good, but would be better with auto-reset
This is a fine thermometer. I really like that it shows precisely what I want... the current temperature, the high temperature and the low temperature. Three things I would like to see improved, from least important to most important.1. I could do without the smiley face. It adds no value to me, and distracts from the temperature data I want to see.2. The display alternates between showing the temperature and the humidity. I live in Southern California, and humidity readings are not important here, since we rarely have humidity of any consequence. It would be nice to outfit this with an option to not alternate displays.3. The most concerning problem is that there is no auto-reset of the high and low temperatures. So as it is, you'll see the high and low temperatures not just for today, but for the period of time since you last manually reset the unit. That could be a day, a week, a month, or longer. The programming of this unit needs to be changed so that the highs and lows automatically reset each day, or perhaps once the temperature bottoms-out and starts to rise each day.

Screen not lit
I've bought some mini LCD thermometers, one set of about 6, one with a backlight and these. I can't say how accurate any of them are because I don't have a standardized thermometer, but the temperatures seem accurate when compared with the others. The humidity also seems fairly accurate when compared with the other thermometers with hygrometer function. I mainly plan to use it for temperature. It's small, not as small as the 6 pack of mini thermometers which are about 1" high. This is about 8.8 cm wide by 4.7 cm high. The screen isn't lit so it must be read with good lighting. It displays alternating temperature and humidity and then the max-min temperature and humidity on the right side in two lines. It comes with a battery but there are two compartments, one for a larger button battery and the smaller one this comes with stored in the larger button cell compartment. There are two small buttons on the back, one to change the reading between C and F, and one to reset.

: I This thermometer may be sentient : D
Seems to work well, large and easy to read. However, the little face has become an obsession in my office. It's hard to please. Maybe he just hates this office. It has been up to 82 in here because the air conditioner broke, and I understand why he wasn't happy with that. Now it's 73 and he's not happy still. The general consensus among the humans here is that the temperature is much better, but the thermometer guy isn't convinced. We saw a smile briefly at 74 degrees, but then it was a meh face next time anyone noticed and it was 73, so maybe only 74 is good? It's a confusing delight. No clue why he's so unhappy or why anyone wants a thermometer to be emotional/opinionated.Update: he may just be lonely, I picked him up and he started smiling. Temp went up to 75 and humidity to 43, the little guy is delighted.

Nice room thermometers and hygrometers
Easy to put together, all three sat in the same place for a few minutes and registered the same room temp and humidity. I put one on a back porch that I keep slightly heated for my dogs and tropical plants. I wish it glowed in the dark or were more luminescent or just bigger. I could have paid a little more and gotten one with those features. I can shine a light on it at night to check the temp. So for the price, I am happy with these. Not sure what the difference is between a hygrometer and a humidity monitor??

It works
I love being able to see the temperature and humidity in my upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Have been using these for a while, but unfortunately the batteries only last a few months. We bought replacement batteries at a battery store, thinking we would get better batteries there, and they didn't last as long as the original batteries that came with the products.

Alternating Temperature / Humidity means a long look to see the temperature
Good units, not exactly the same LCD as the picture, the face is different - displays a "meh" face or a smiling face. +/-1 degree of difference between the readings on each, fair enough. Deg C or Deg F need a paperclip to change, small hole you poke - not a "switch" as the description says. Nice that they have a magnet built in for mounting. It takes a few seconds to read the temperature because the display alternates between showing temperature and relative humidity making it hard to read with just a glance.
