Average Price, Mild Recovery Benefits
I’ve noticed it helps a bit with recovery and muscle fatigue after workouts. The tropical punch flavor is okay, not too strong. The price is on par with similar products, so it's not a bad deal. I like the hydration complex, though it could use more servings for the cost.

Worthy alternative to premixed sports drinks
This is actually one of four flavors of this BCAA drink mix I’m reviewing (the others are Peach Mango, Fruit Punch, and Raspberry Lemonade). These are functionally more or less the same product, so most of this review applies to the other flavors as well. After about two months of regular use, I’ve found this drink mix to be a worthy alternative to the premixed sports drinks that I had previously relied upon for pre-workout hydration. Its main draw is that it contains the branched chain amino acids (BCAA’s) leucine, isoleucine, and valine in a 2:1:1 ratio. The effects of these BCAA’s won’t be massive, but they should help a bit around the edges with workout recovery, muscle fatigue, and the like. I also approve of the inclusion of electrolytes from interesting sources - sodium from Himalayan rock salt and (some) potassium from coconut water powder.Be advised that free amino acids do contain calories (3.4 kcal/g compared to 4 kcal/g in regular proteins), so the 7 grams of those free amino acids per serving contained in this product provide about 25 calories that don’t show up in the Supplement Facts label. This is kind of understandable given that most products with free amino acids don’t declare them at all, as they’re usually not present in enough quantity to make much of a caloric difference, but it’s still arguably misleading. To close out with some remarks specific to the Tropical Punch flavor, I subjectively found it to be the most forgettable in taste. Unlike the others, though, it contains citrulline, which indirectly boosts nitric oxide levels after being converted into arginine by the body. I’d therefore recommend the Tropical Punch flavor if you’re on the fence simply because it can do something that the other flavors cannot. If you look closely, it also comes with somewhat less electrolytes than the other flavors, but I deem this an acceptable tradeoff.

Nice
I like this BCAA hydration powder. It mixes and dissolves easily into water. I mix one serving with about 30 ounces of water, and the taste is perfect. If I used less I think it would taste pretty strong. I appreciate that the aftertaste is minimal. I like the tropical punch flavor.

Tropical Punch flavor is great
I've tried a few different BCAA flavors from Nutricost and Tropical Punch is one of my favorites. Some of the others have an overwhelming artificial sweetness--I don't particularly mind them, but my wife does. The sweetness in some of the flavors is beyond candy sweet. The watermelon, for instance, tastes like watermelon gum... but rolled in a cup of sugar. The tropical punch flavor, however, is much milder in the sweetness department. It tastes like coconut water mixed with pineapple juice. It's something I'd actually drink if it was available as a beverage.I can't speak to the efficacy of them as a supplement. Most people get enough BCAAs from a balanced diet, but if you're on a specialized diet you might benefit more. My protein powder has BCAAs, so I don't think doubling up is necessary. BUT, instead of a commercial preworkout with all the fillers and mystery ingredients, I mix these BCAAs with caffeine and beta alanine and make my own. It does taste like some other preworkouts, so it's psychologically effective as a replacement.

sweet
This thing is SWEET. It uses fake sugar, but dang. I have to dilute this with a lot more ice and water to be able to drink it. I use this if I didn't eat yet and I exercise in the morning. So far, I feel better with it than just plain water.

Best flavor available from Nutricost BCAA+ line in my opinion
Item: Nutricost BCAA + Hydration Powder (Tropical Punch) 30 Servings - Branched Chain Amino AcidsNutricost is a decently known brand that has been around for quite sometime. As I have known of this brand before hand I decided to try their BCAA+ Powder and was not disappointed. The flavor tropical punch is quite nice and not over powering which I appreciated. The artificial sugar taste isn't as bad as a few other brands that I have tried. Over the course of 10 days since I have received it and started drinking it, I have not noticed any negative side effects.

Almost a great product.
I ordered this product only to find it has a couple of ingredients that I avoid like the plague. I ordered it thinking it surely would not contain these ingredients, but sure enough, it contains those ingredients. I like that this product has branched chain amino acids with hydration complex and that it is tropical punch flavor. But I dislike that it contains the two artificial sweeteners sucralose and acesulfame potassium. I will give it to a friend who doesn't care if it contains artificial sweeteners.
