Vater Abe Cunningham Cool Breeze Drum Sticks, Pair

Alright, alright, they’re actually wood but they last so long you might think they’re steel.I’ve been a Pro-Mark player most of my life, but Abe is on my top 5 influences list, so I had to give them a shot. They did not disappoint. Good value at a good price. Will totally get them again!

The weight Is ideal. You actually do less work and maybe think about timing more than strokes per minute etc. And Abe if you're reading this, the extra girth goes a long way thanks to the extra generous tip size. Shalom!

My husbands favorite sticks!

Abe is a huge influence on my drumming. The size of these sticks is absolutely perfect, HOWEVER, I have not been a huge fan of Vater's QC. They seem pretty easy to break and had a pair that wasn't even close to being weight matched. I'm now searching for a stick with similar dimensions but made by pro-mark or my usual go to, Vic Firth.

I’ve always used Vic Virth Metal N’s but I was looking for something a little lighter in weight. These are in the same ball park but lighter and thinner in diameter. These are good quality sticks from one of my favorite drummers.

The sticks arrived up to the usual high standards I come to expect from Vater. They are longer than my usual Vater 5B, but are well balanced with the same thickness and acorn tip, and allow you to play intricate patterns and speedy figures as well as effortless power because of the bigger stick. These sticks are great for funk, rock, and metal, and I'm glad I gave them a try! I would recommend them to anyone who uses a 5B and above and is looking for something different.
