I have given this "Vanka Tool" company 3 chances to deliver a decent meter at a low price and they have NEVER delivered a decent reliable meter. Now, they are extremely expensive? Insane! this tool does not measure ph correctly at all, even immediately after calibration? How can they get away with this taking of good hard earned money for a crappy non functioning product? Please heed my advise and save your hard earned money. I will NEVER purchase ANY product from "VankaTool" EVER again.

Does what it said it should, I mean at least I think it does, if it didn’t, I wouldn’t know. Recommend buying extra calibration minerals if using it for homebrewing. I use this for homebrewing wort check, but well no I really don’t know why else you would want a cheap PH meter, I imagine you science people out there would get the pricy ones, but this is cheap and works.

When I purchased this it had hundreds of good reviews. It seemed to work fine a couple times, but not even 2 weeks old and it won't stay calibrated reads different. I logged in and now it only has 15 POOR reviews. You get what you pay for. Junk. Will be returning.

It was not calibrated out of the box (our water is around 5-6 ph, and this tester said it was over 9...), and the instructions on how to calibrate are not all that clear. I've had the thing almost a month and still don't really know if it works.

It just is not even close to being accurate. I bought 2 different brands the both stink. Also bought 1 with a little screw driver works fine. It came with batteries leaking turquoise stuff. Went and bought new batteries and it worked great. These things stink.

Does not provide consistent or accurate results. Complete garbage. I babied this thing too.

Holds its calibration for quite a while too. I use this for water on my potted plans, but I'd consider using it in the lab, too.

Product needs to be calibrated with each use. I already had another Vantakool meter, but the bulb cracked after a day so I bought the same model to replace it. It’s upsetting to see a discrepancy in quality. My other meter was accurate every time it was turned on.
