The short story is that the WiFi extender works as advertised, and is easy to set up and immediately use.I ended up purchasing this for two reasons - the kids were complaining that my new (expensive and fast) router would not reach out into the back yard (1st world problems...). Also, I recently bought Blink Cameras on sale and the farthest two would not connect and one only connected intermittently. Reading the Blink Troubleshooting led me to think that the WiFi signal was to blame.So, I looked up WiFi extenders on Amazon and selected this one because it claims to have the farthest range. I have not tested it thoroughly in that respect, but I can tell you that about 70-80 feet into the backyard, I could still receive the 2G signal very well. Long past the original router signal.Additionally, after installation - the Blink Cameras connected and work properly.So - very happy with the purchase.FYI - I installed the WiFi Extender upside down, so that it would not cover both plugs on an outlet, and flipped the antennas around - no issues.Also, I have it installed indoors near the router, but on a plug that is located on a shelf near the ceiling, so hopefully that helps with range. I would have installed it outside, but our summers are BRUTAL so I did not want to try that, even though it is rated for outdoors. I would buy this again!

This worked great. We needed to get Wi-Fi into the garage and this was perfect. We had a smaller and cheaper unit plugged into the outlet outside of the garage and it worked fine except the signal was still very weak. With this unit, signal is very strong and you can attach an ethernet cable if you need to run wired Internet into the garage. The set up was very straightforward if you follow the instructions. If your modem has WPS then set up is very easy. What you may not realize is that when it makes a good connection in both 2G and 4G, the big X in the middle will turn from blue to red. You would think it would be the other way around but no, the X turns from blue to red. Other than that everything worked great. Very easy set up and now we have a very strong connection in garage and on the patio.

This was a wonderful product that works well and is easy to setup. Operates on 2G and on 5G.

The extender works quite well. I have had it for some months now and I am satisfied with it. Connectivity is good and I can move around the house as I need it. Recommended.

This WiFi extender delivered as advertised. I am very pleased with the product.My situation was I wanted WiFI in my out building which is a second detached garage 50 feet from my house. My modem/router is centrally located in the house, which resulted in a distance from modem to out building of over 150 feet. All structures conventional brick residence, steel entry doors, garage doors at both ends. My house is in a rural setting. I have a cable WiFi provider.BEFORE: My WiFi signal before installation of this extender was a signal so weak I would lose connection, and if connected almost unusable speed. AFTER: My Wifi signal after installation of this extender is a signal comparable to in my living room.I found set-up to be simple and quick.I have been using for two weeks and have not seen any interruption of service.I was concerned how the device would recover from a power outage / standby generator transfer switches power when travelling however I had no issues after weekly generator testing.This product seems an exceptional value .

We were having problems with one of our Ring Floodlight cameras in the back part of our property. We bought this Wi-Fi Extender and thank heavens it now works. My husband would have been furious at me if he would have went to all the trouble to put it up then it didn’t work! The customer service for this product is super - I spent a couple hours trying to install it. I called them and ten minutes later it was installed. I had the sweetest man help me making it so easy! Awesome customer service - I only wish everyone had this great of service! Awesome product!

I had difficulty activating the unit so after several attempts called the Customer Service #. The gentleman who took my call was friendly, polite and knowledgeable and had me up and running in minutes.
