User friendly garden kit for plant protecton.
I planned to make use of this kit to protect a new garden plot this year; however, by the time it arrived we had already installed a fence and covered the area with a different type of shade netting on hand that was a fairly good fit. Due to inclement weather in the northern climes and wandering deer we cover most all the vegetable/fruit garden areas on and off for protection throughout the growing season. After looking everything over am considering how to best put this to use next spring once the seeds are planted. The ultra fine mesh netting appears strong enough for plant protection, is breathable and looks like it may be a better option at letting the light through than some of the covering I am currently using. Its plenty big, 10 ft. x 50 ft. and can apparently be cut to the appropriate size without fraying or unraveling which is nice. The fiberglass pipes/hoops and connecters are sturdy and should insert easily into the soil. All the clamps are made out of plastic and will just have to see how they hold up over time.

It's okay...
This is an okay garden hoop set. It's affordable quality for sure. At their tallest the hoops need more enforcement. The netting isn't the best, but will do the job for at least the season. It'll keep small things out and birds, but it does tear easy and when cut if trays at the ends. Other than that it's very easy to use and versatile.

Not durable
When you put the clips on be sure you know where you want them because they damage netting if removed. I have these in 12” deep beds and pushed them to the bottom but they aren’t stable if it’s even slightly windy. If you put thin PVC pipe in the bed and secure to sides of bed it’ll work better.

Kick your gardening up a notch
Bugs and birds. If you have that problem in your beds (raised beds work best with this system) this is an inexpensive answer to covering about 50 running feet of beds. This is a fiberglass rod system with metal connectors to which you attach the netting with included clamps. The QC on the connectors leaves something to be desired, but you can de-burr them easy enough and get the rods to fit. You can go wider then 2 foot beds, but the more tension on the rods the better that stay together. One piece of advice. Run at least two thin rope lines from arch to arch and then secure at either end in the ground with a large stake, and use cheap landscape cloth stakes to secure the sides of the netting. That will prevent wind mishaps, which I experienced and had to chase my hoop hose down the road. At $36.99 it's worth the money. I recommend.

Nice light duty hoop system
This kit is easy enough to assemble and get in place. Tons of netting provided that can be used for other purposes as well. It's on the light duty side (gets a bit flexy if you create a hoop of more than 6 rods), but by no means cheap feeling. If used as directed, it should last for some time. No complaints from me.

Keeps Those Little Black Grasshoppers Out!
This was exactly what I needed this year. I actually did my garden in pots this year instead of raised beds just to see if it was easier. It was doing really well until the little tiny black grasshoppers showed up and started eating my stuff! I got this and was able to get them out of the garden with a molasses trick I learned a long time ago. Once I knew I had them off my plants I was able to set up the hoops which are very sturdy! I am impressed with the quality. Since they are fiberglass you wont have any rust on your netting. This seems like its well thought out. The netting covers my garden nicely and since I did it in pots this year it was so easy to make this work even better for me. I have it set up in a few places around my yard where I have different plants together. It has been a great idea for me and my plants and Im confident others will love the protection it offers your plants too!

Garden Hoops
These garden hoops are easy to put together. The netting and hoops are well made. The kit included clips to put the netting onto the hoops, as well. The netting helped my garden survive the extreme heat this summer.
