bee bright first steps with Justin Fletcher (12 months - 3 years) [DVD] [DVD]

Simple but clear,bright, and with the added benefit of Justin's friendly voice. It has helped me two year old with shape recognition, and she is mesmerised by the colourful animal characters.It does seem simplistic but bear in mind it is not intended to entertain us parents, it is perfectly pitched at young minds and the speed they can take in basic information. Would recommend if your child liked tv and you want to try something a bit more educational with them.I haven't tried the option to remove the narrative but we do talk it through whilst we watch.

I do like this DVD but at the moment my little one is not that interested in it, I hope this will change in time.

I brought Bee Bright for my 18 month old twins, who love it, they are having a great time learning their shapes, colours, numbers. They talk to Buzz and Fizz and even wave and try to do some of the actions.It does all the things it says it does on the dvd and more! Its great to have a dvd that actually teaches them without them realising it.Its wonderful, would recommended it to anyone who wants to give their children a head start.

I bought this for my 20 month old and to be honest it hasn't really captured her imagination. She is much more keen on a makaton nursery rhyme dvd with lots of farm animals and playgrounds that I bought at the same time. She has never asked to watch this (even though big sister did watch it for a few days after we got it). I bought this on the basis of all the reviews when I was looking for a signing dvd (something special). I wish I had saved my money to be honest. This dvd is mostly animated, and doesn't feature Justin very much at all. It is just lots of little sketches with a colour/number theme for each episode (red, yellow, green and blue and 1 to 4). It reminds me a little of childrens programmes when I was young, like 'bod'.

It's a shame they mix up all the reviews for all 4 of the bee bright dvds.I bought the one which teaches the alphabet first, and my 2 year old son absolutely loved it, and wanted to watch it again and again.It was so good that I bought another one in the series, this time the green one. It says on here it's for 18 months to 4 years, on the box it says 18 months to 3 years, and in my view it should probably be 12 months to 18 months, assuming they're even interested in TV at that age. My son already knows everything on it, he didn't even watch it once without getting bored, even though he loves the characters from the other one we've got.So top marks to the alphabet one ( I think it's the yellow box), but the green one is only for very young children.

complete waste of money, dull computer graphic bee's and a train is pretty much it. If you're obsessed with getting your babies to learn what a square is and then the difference between a red and blue square, you'll love it. my son and i really enjoy the mr.tumble programme 'something special' together, but this dvd is just a cheap flash animation made for a hefty profit i'd imagine and not a patch on his television shows. very disappointing. i only bought it for the rainy days for a bit of extra stimilus, but i think we'll just put our rain coats on in future!

Ok so the content repeats 3 times with different colours, but so what! My 1 year old thinks that is great and one day he will also be able to tell the difference between red and yellow as well as the ant.

This is the second one I have bought as my 2.5 year old Grandson loved the first one. Very simple and easy for little ones to follow. I would recommend this as learning tool for any young children
