NASB Large Print Compact Reference Bible, Burgundy Leathertouch

This is a great little Bible. Ghosting of pages is minimal. Font is clear. Includes end of page references and a topical concordance as well as eight maps. It has a sewn spine, a nice little ribbon and nice gold page gilding. I just received it so it hasn’t been properly broken in but I think it’s going to respond nicely. The paper is not smooth but seems fairly substantial. I’m very pleased especially for the price. It’s exactly what I wanted.

I ordered this Bible because I wanted a compact hard copy Bible for some online courses I’m doing that use the NASB text. It did arrive with some slight page edge damage in the book of Romans but it wasn’t significant so not a concern for me. I did notice there’s also a fair bit of page sticking at the top and bottom right corners but that will get worked out with use. The Bible also comes in at 1/8” narrower and shorter than advertised. I’ve included some side by side comparison pics of the Thomas Nelson NKJV Compact which is a true 4 1/2” inch wide by 6 7/8” high and features an 8.5pt font. The fit and finish of this Bible is very nice overall and I like the feel of the Leathertouch material Holman uses on their Bibles. It feels soft and warm to the touch but is also scratch resistant. The compact size is easy to hold and it lays flat relatively well even without being broken in yet. Overall it’s a very nice compact Bible and I look forward to using it during my courses.

Excellent while mobile. Can carry it around in backpack or a small bag. Love it

The bible arrived so few days before said date of delivery...im thankfull thank you amazon..its nice,proper and well taken cared of to deliver., it is small as the way i like it,the font is good,readable,nice to see that Gods word is in red...What makes me sad is that in my opinion this bible is not the closest translation to original,some wording changed and so is the essence of the meaning.,and some verses is also missing...whoever wants to buy a BIBLE .be sure the MATTHEW 17:21 exist...THANK YOU.

It was a bit smaller than I thought but it in no way diminishes it. It’s small and neat and will tidily fit into any bag. The print is easy to read for a Bible it’s size so there are no complaints about that. Feels lovely in the hand.This is the first NASB translation I’ve had so I can’t comment on that just yet, but this little Bible is great. I’d recommend it, especially if you have problems holding larger, heavier Bibles. 👍🏻
