Best iPad cover ever!
I have 3 iPads and have tried at least 10 different covers but just like finding the perfect wallet, there just wasn't a case that did every thing I wanted.....until now. I absolutely love the Trexta rotating folio with all the different functions it has. You can turn it any direction for viewing so reading and taking pictures is so much easier and not awkward like all the others I've tried. The color, fit and leather are also perfect. I will definitely order a couple more for my other IPads.

The case that works for me
I've come to realize that picking a case or cover is very subjective. What works for me won't necessarily work for the next person. It took three tries before I even understood how my own usage of the iPad 2 was going to affect the type of cover or case that would work for me.The first cover tried was Apple's Smart Cover which turned into a frustrating experience. It is a sleek, minimalist, and very cool looking cover. It's also rather expensive in the red leather - $70. But I found rolling back the cover required more adjustments than I wanted to fuss with. Also the angle of the iPad while typing was too low for me, I need it tilted at a greater angle than is possible to achieve. And finally I prefer to read the iPad in portrait with it sitting on a table, something the Smart Cover can't do.Next tried was the iPearl case. This was a very inexpensive case ($15 at the time) though the manufacturer claimed that it was all leather. I chose the red leather and while pretty, and the case had pretty good recommendations, it too had issues that made it unusable after a while. First was the smell. The case gives off an eye burning chemical smell when removed from it's packaging. Thinking that it would dissipate, I left it out to air for a couple of days. And while the smell did diminish greatly, it never went completely away. The iPad slides into the case which means there is a leather frame all around the front. There are cut outs for the cameras on both back and front, but the frame intereferred with the access to the charging slot, the volume contols and the on/off switch. It has magnets in the cover which would put the iPad to sleep if they connected completely and there is an attached elastic band to keep it closed. There is an attached flap on one side which flips out so that the case can be propped up in landscape mode. Again, this angle wasn't acute enough for me. As for reading in portrait, there is a wide elastic band which you slip your hand into and hold the iPad up to read. Since I want the iPad sitting on a table in portrait mode, well obviously I had not picked the right case again. And last, after a very short time, all the edges started to curl in and the whole case looked shabby and worn. Finally we come to the Trexta Rotating Folio. This case is as expensive as Apple's Smart Cover in leather - $70. Unlike the iPearl, it actually smells like leather because it is leather! There are no eye searing chemical smells. I chose the fushia color which looks purple to me, color being pretty subjective. But I like it! The iPad snaps into a very thin plastic shell which has all four corners cut out leaving easy access to all the pertinent slots, switches and cameras. The shell rotates in the case allowing usage in landscape and portrait modes. You do need to rotate the iPad into portrait mode in order to use the camera on the back. The case looks like there is a leather band which wraps around the body to snap close on one side. To use the case, you unsnap the band, flip the cover completely to the back, lift the band which is velcro on the front of the case (it is completely sewed down on the back of the case) and fold it towards the spine to the angle desired. The iPad is completely protected both back and front, it rotates easily, and the reading angles are completely adjustable to your liking. The only issues I have are with the weight, as all that leather really is substantial and that closing the case does not put the iPad to sleep. These are minor issues for me as I've gotten used to the heft of this case (it feels more protected anyway!), and I'm now in the habit of turning the iPad off. I can very happily recommend this case!

I like the durability. However, it took me a while until I learned how to use it.
