Works well
Does exactly what it says. One of the tapes snapped easily but the rest have been fine. It attracts any flies that enter the house. Great for summer for hanging above the guinea pig cage to prevent fly strike.

Not the prettiest but they do work...
Every so often, we get inundated with fruit flies and these traps have been really efficient in dealing with them. We also hang a couple in our porch to eliminate blue bottles before they come into the house. The traps are not the prettiest thing to have hanging around but I would rather have them gently twirling around killings flies than have the pesky things whizzing around the house.

Not great
Flys would fly on past but when they went on and didn’t stick

A Fruit Fly's Worst Nightmare
For just £5.99, the Bugoff Sticky Fly Glue Trap Tape is an effective solution for dealing with pesky fruit flies. Each pack contains 18 pieces of red, sticky traps designed for both indoor and outdoor use, including gardens, greenhouses, and homes. The traps are made from high-quality materials, featuring glue on both sides of the paper to ensure that no fly escapes once it lands. This makes them particularly reliable for catching a variety of flying insects. In my experience, these traps perform exceptionally well. They do exactly what they're intended to—catch and contain fruit flies without any hassle. The process of using and disposing of the traps is straightforward and efficient. I’d rate these 5/5 stars for their reliability and ease of use.

18 fly stickies that work
Within minutes of putting one of these up it had already caught a fly - proving it works. You get 18 of these fly "traps" in the box - not sure what to call them - but I suppose gluey /sticky trap is about right. The instructions are on the bottom of the box and really easy to follow - the difficult bit is trying not to get the sticky stuff on your fingers when you pull the red "ribbon" bit out of the top.Maybe next time I will use a pencil or something else to pull the ribbon out. When unravelling it remember to keep turning the tube otherwise you will just end up stretching (and possibly snapping) the sticky tape. Each trap comes with its own drawing pin in the lid which I thought was really good of them - although I used tape to put mine up because I did not want a drawing pin hole in the ceiling. The sticky trap clearly works because 1 fly got caught (see photo) within minutes of me putting the trap up.Getting 18 of these in 1 box is a real bonus and I think they will last us a few months (if not longer) - time will tell.

Simple, effective, & safe
These are great for catching certain types of fly, but not all breeds.I've ordered these as replacements for a pack that we've now used, and, at certain times of year, they have been sooooo helpful at catching the majority of flies that come inside through open windows.Best to think about where you're going to hang them before you open them as it can otherwise get so very sticky and messy if you're not prepared! Holding them in your hands to warm them before slowly pulling them open is the best technique as they will need to be almost straight when they hang up. They are not pretty to see, but they are effective! We often have a type of fly in that looks like a slightly smaller housefly and is attracted to anything that dangles from the ceiling, so our light fittings are a magnet for them. We've organised a little hook to hang the fly trap from, and put a small table underneath (to stop us from walking into the sticky fly trap!), and at times, the trap can catch over a dozen flies within the first hour. It will continue working for a month if you can bear looking at a load of flies for that long! It will catch anything that lands on it, and we've had quite a few tiny flies and a few gnats caught, too, but big bluebottles can be sometimes too energetic and escape. The bad thing about this is that it's not pretty to look at, but it is very effective and the best thing is that no chemicals are involved - just paper and sticky wax (sadly, a bit of non-eco-friendly plastic in its packaging, too) - so if any children or animals (or your own hair!) come into contact with it, you may have great fun getting them clean, but you don't need to worry about them getting poisoned! Far better than poisonous sprays where humans and animals alike have to breathe in the chemicals!

Very Sticky!
These sticky fly traps are becoming increasingly difficult to find these days and I still think these are some of the best. Each trap is activated by pulling on the red ribbon loop on top, this then releases the cap and the inner coil of sticky paper. You will notice that the end cap also has a pin on one side which can be used to hang the trap or you can use the ribbon loop.Admittedly I did need to encourage the coils to unwind as they were stuck together but this was easy enough by twisting the trap in the opposite direction.Included in the box are 18 sticky bug traps which should be enough to last me a few summers at least. It's too early to show any evidence of any bug capture but I've used other brands many times and they'll catch pretty much anything that goes near them, including people if they brush past them so best to hang them out of the way, this glue is a nightmare to wash off normally.

Work relatively well
These work great for catching little flies. The only problem I've found is getting the actual trap set up, I pull it open like I'm meant to but it doesn't come out neatly twisted like it should. Be careful where you place them too as they're lethal for catching your hair. Great value for money though, just takes practice to set them up properly
