SugarVeilFlower Toppers Mat with White SugarVeil Icing

I ordered this last minute because I misplaced a different brand of sugar lace, which I love and it’s so easy to use. I followed these instructions step by step and even went on the website and looked up tutorials. No matter what I did, the lace crumbled the second I tried to remove it from the mat. It was almost like a merengue consistency and would have never held up as lace. I tried to make lace 8 different times using different techniques and none of them worked. Thankfully, I found my misplaced old product and was able to use that to save the day. Of course, this item is not eligible for returns so I cannot get a refund for it.

The mats are great. The sugar Veil is very diffucult to work with. I tried all different techniques listed. Then I used CAKE LACE. That worked like a dream.

Not much flavor but can be coloredand best results achieved by air drying

This was awful. It baked fine but then crumbled when taking it out. Uggh. Waste of money

I made very pretty sugar lace topper followed the instructions. but it melt when I put it on a cake kept it in the refrigerator, nice but really limited use for a baker
