These socks do a good job at staying on and never seemed to bother my dog (she didn't try to undo the velcro or pull at them). The grips are nice for her on tile floor. So that solves two problems I had in putting a human sock on her! However, if you are in even in the slightest doubt, size up. I measured my dog's paw, and got the size that matched, but the socks were a bit tighter than I would have liked and they were quite short given her long-legs (yes, the length measurements were included, but I assumed width was the most important). They just would have worked better for my dog in a size up.

I like the quality of the socks, and it looks great on my dog, but it doesn't stay on for dogs that like to walk around a lot. Still debating if I should instead get a size smaller but not sure if that will make it too tight.

I feel like no dog likes wearing socks until they're used to it, but these took a lot less time than others for my dog to get used to. The first time, he hated it, did the funny walk, and flung two of them off his foot before the walk was done. But gradually, he got used to it and by Day 3, he was ready to go and safe. We have a lot of foxtails in my area and my guy has already had to have foxtail retrieval surgery twice, so I wanted to make sure he was protected this time around. These socks are a solid alternative to clunkier and more difficult dog shoes.

There are snakes, multiple kinds of ticks, fleas, spiders and those nasty puss caterpillars that leave their soft-looking fur in your skin like glass shards in our area. So we walk my niece the dog on the sidewalk here (and still watch for snakes baking in the sun). Right now, though, that sidewalk is another hazard: you can cook an egg there. Not good for bare dog feet.So, these socks. You get six (which is a little disconcerting, but apparently they assume you need spares). I measured carefully, and my furry niece fits the socks just fine, provided you can hold her long enough to get them all on and secured with the Velcro.Which is the drawback here: like many dogs, she doesn't like having her feet handled or constrained. If only they were like pills, and you could just roll them in cheese to make them palatable. She spends the non-walking time trying to nibble or shake them off. But at least she gets a little extended time this way, and her feet are protected.

I bought these for hot pavement protection for my dog. Unfortunately, this would be like wearing thin socks on hot pavement, definitely not helpful. I measured my dog's paws and purchased the appropriate size according to the listing, but they are TINY. I do not recommend, there are better options out there.

I like that they came with 6 socks and not just 4. I also like the little velcro bands that have snap that snaps to the sock itself. Now my dog is not quite sure if she likes them she walks a little funny but im sure with time she will be fine with them. For reference my dog is 72 lbs and I got the mediums for her.

I got these to protect my rescue dog's paws from the hot asphalt at my apartment complex. I measured as instructed and the socks fit perfectly. There are Velcro straps included that can be snapped onto the socks to help secure them. Unfortunately, none of this helped as the very first walk I took her on while wearing these, one slipped off almost immediately after we walked out the door. Another came off a few seconds later in the parking lot. To be fair, my rescue Missy is a 40 lb. lab mix who pulls on the leash like she is a lead sled dog in the Iditarod! She really digs in and can pull me pretty good despite me weighing 215 lbs!Now if we went on a normal walk where she was not in such a hurry they would probably stay on longer. As far as the socks themselves, they are so cute and very grippy! I still think these are a great product and if your dog isn't crazy like mine, they should work very well.

These socks work perfectly for my lab that won't stop licking one foot. The sock allows his foot to heal. The velcro across the top keeps the socks in place all day long. They wash and dry nicely and the grippy bottoms help keep him from sliding across the hard wood floors. Would recommend.
