Do you love hot yoga but hate how your mat gets super slippery when you sweat? Is your current yoga towel too short for your mat and prone to bunching? Do you wish your yoga practice only involved carrying one piece of gear with you instead of two? The Elite Hybrid towel/yoga mat combines the function and support of a traditional mat with the grip and absorption of the thirstiest towel. Made of environmentally friendly ECO PER and Bamboo Microfiber, this towel/mat stays soft and supple while being free of the 6 most harmful phthalates (toxic softening chemicals used in lots of plastic, vinyl, and rubber — including many non-Kulae yoga mats). The Elite Hybrid is the future of hot yoga! And, of course, it is 100% recyclable. Care: Machine wash with cold water on a gentle cycle. If you have a top-loading washer machine with an agitator in the middle, simply fold the mat in half the long way and wrap it around the spindle. Hang dry, or tumble dry on low heat. Product specifications: · 100% recyclable · Made using ECO PER/Microfiber/Bamboo Carbon · 72” x 24” x 4mm (183cm x 61cm x 0.16 in) · 3 lbs (1.81 kg)

Light and stream-lined for a 'rip & run' yoga experience
I'm a hot yoga practitioner who's been at this consistently for over six years. I started with a Kulae mat then and loved the eco-friendly design, the thin but grippy mat experience, and the ease to pull the mat up and leave the hot room without lugging what felt like a 5-lb soaking wet mat and all my accoutrements. My 1st mat was great, but alas, I distractedly left it baking in my car over long periods of time until the poor thing gave up on me. I then had a Jade Yoga mat which was thick and heavy and burdensome. I missed the ability to 'rip & run' after yoga class with a lighter mat. So I did my research. I looked at printed mats, towel-and-yoga-mat-in-one mats, ecologically designed mats, I compared price points, you name it. I finally came back to the Kulae mat. It's so different from the other mats out there. Foremost, I prefer a mat with a thin silhouette & not a lot of bulk or weight. I don't need the extra padding for my knees or joints. I like to feel the contact with the floor. This time I chose the towel mat in purple, and I'm so glad I did. The construction is superb and the towel surface is responsive and grippy. The downside is that if you use the mat soon after you wash it and it hasn't dried completely, the grippy side stretches and moves & becomes distracting. However, I have been able to spray down the mat after using and dry it out and can use it again the next day, no problem. Washing it in the machine (fold long-ways with grippy side up) was easy and awesome; you just need to give it about a day to dry (or most of the afternoon in the hot, hot, CA sun). It says you can machine dry for small periods of time, which I've done in a pinch (Just don't put it on high for 50 mins) The best part is I have a light-weight mat that is fairly easy to clean, and the towel part stays put and does its job of absorbing sweat very well. Then I can rip & run after class & no heavy wet mat! Win-win.One can get very attached to their yoga mat, and I am certainly attached to my Kulae. I really like that they make it with enviro-friendly materials and the construction is solid. If you don't need the extra padding/thickness (& therefore weight) try the Kulae. It will enhance your yoga experience!
