Baha'u'llah and the New Era: An Introduction to the Baha'i Faith

Baha'u'llah and the New Era has been reprinted many times over the years because it is a wonderful, thorough, reference work on the Baha'i Faith of which this is the latest updated edition. I am in a weekly study group comprised of twelve people from Jewish, Christian, and Baha'i faiths and this is the book we are currently using. Each section of each chapter is so interesting and thought provoking that much discussion arises, bringing up many gems when viewed from one another's perspective. So many 'aha' moments!

Some really great writing on the Bahai faith, I think it was written in the 1930's. Is an excellent introduction!!!

This is the book that you want to read if you are interested in a Faith that is NEW. It teaches the concept of 'Oneness', 'Equality', and 'Elimination of Prejudices'. It is actually a Global Faith, one that all the folks in the world can embrase, understand and practice. That is the concept of Oneness...it Unifies everyone. There is no class system, everyone is equal, men and women included! No one or race is above the other. The Scriptures really touch your heart. There is real substance to the teachings. Its worth reading and investigating further I think.

I think the person who said this was translated from the Persian must have been reading a different book. This one is by a native English speaker, why would he write it in Persian? The English is perfectly clear, a straightforward read. It's a good introduction to the Baha'i faith.
