Powerball Electric Start Gyroscope - World's First Electric Start for Strength & Rehabilitation

I received a cheaper plastic Powerball string start-up and without counter which I enjoyed using as a gift. It was fun and helped with building up grip and forearm strength. I then took the plunge and purchased the Titan model. Not cheap but it's well made, large, heavy and gets the whole arm working after a short amount of use. It's a serious piece of exercise equipment and I'd definitely recommend it.

Very easy to use. Very robust. Does exactly what it says it will do. Not cheap, but a good investment nevertheless. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a convenient, portable, easy-to-use device that effectively strengthens your grip and forearm.

Speaking as a violinist, the effect of adding the Electric Start to Gyroball overcomes any difficulties of [a] starting the rotation manually [b] maintaining it & [c] accelerating it to strength-building speed. This makes it ideal for building strength in the left and right hand-wrist-forearm coordination. Thankyou.

Fantastic product, the auto start makes it a dream and the mass of this model is really felt in just a few moments of spin.

After all these years, you know it seemed like a good idea, but even with hand start just couldn't be arsed, now it is like second nature, my tennis has improved off the charts, it is not coincidence that the small strength improvements have given results.

Unbelievable got the hang of it in five minutes first time I got it going really quick it shot out of my hand you’ve got to grip it ,if you can use it for three minutes flat out your rock ard I can only do 90 seconds with each arm.i had a shoulder injury in a road accident five years ago and never really got going in the gym since constant pain in my shoulder powerball is making it a bit less painful,only just over a week now see how it goes well worth the price glad I bought the heavyweight one

This is easily the best powerball i have ever had and i have had a few over the years. The self starter works perfectly/ it looks and feels like a quality precision instrument and even at high revs its almost silent and very smooth. The rough surface makes it much easier to keep a grip on it during your workout.I definitely recommend this product.

Great delivery time. got it to rehabilitate from a hand fracture and it did its magic!. However, after a month of use it takes some time /spins for the mechanism to engage and work properly, while emiting a sound of friction. Considering its price,when contacting the manufacturer i didn't receive any response or advice about teh rpoduct adn its current lack of performance.i would not recommend this product. I am looking either for a refund or sell it lossing money in other platform.

J'avais acheté une powerball il y a presque 8 si je me souviens bien comme cadeau, a l'epoque pour la démarrer il fallait un appareil qui fonctionnait avec des piles pour la lancer a une vitesse suffisante pour entraîner une rotation.Désormais le mécanisme de démarrage est inclut dans la powerball même si je me demande combien de temps il tiendra.J'ai pris le modèle titane car c'est le seul d'après le constructeur qui résistera aux chutes.Je regrette que le compteur ne garde pas le nombre de tour max, ou alors je l'ai mal réglé.

La verdad que estoy muy contento con el producto, se nota que es de calidad, pero es un poco caro, eso sí. Me gusta mucho cuando entreno con el powerball ya que se nota realmente como trabajan los músculos, y la sensación que da. He mejorado en movilidad y agarre, a demás me he recuperado de una tendinitis en la muñeca. 100% LO RECOMIENDO VALE LA PENA Y ES UNA GRAN INVERSION PARA LA SALUD.

Got it just this morning... Excellent!I first bought the one from this company that uses the pull cord. It was not very expensive. It is very good and does fit the description and will do the required exercise tasks very well. I found the pull cord a bit of a pain to get it threaded properly and pull it just right. Then I saw on YouTube some videos about how to start it without the pull cord. I myself was never able to achieve this. Then I bought for a bit more than double the cost the self start windup where you wind up the wheel. This was much better for me. After using it for a while, I was reading the new Titan Pro Powerball at about 3X the cost was a bit better for the smoothness and was able to be a bit more forceful. Since the cost was not an issue for me, I bought it. All these facts are true. It is a bit smother, a bit more quieter, and can exert a bit more force if you want to move it stronger.The electronic counter module on the top does not require any batteries. It is powered from the velocity of the gyroscope inside. There is a coil set with a powerful magnet that makes the power to run the model and its LED. No batteries required is a big plus.I am approaching 70 years of age. My arms and hands are feeling a bit weaker from aging. This type of exercise device has been helping me a lot. It is just what I needed and it is a challenge to see how fast I can get it to go. I find it less boring than the conventional types of exercise for the hands and arms. There are many videos on YouTube and other sites about how to use this Powerball.For most people the standard NSD Powerball with the self start windup at 1/3 the cost would be very adequate, and certainly does the job. If you go down the pull cord it is also excellent and would be very satisfactory for most people. What I found it is something like computers, automobiles, and everything else. Just to get something that is a bit more refined or slightly higher in performance the cost increase can be exponential in relation to the difference. I tried three different levels of the NSD Powerball units.I would certainly recommend this Pro Powerball absolutely for sure. There is no question about this. As for being worth the high cost you would have to try the next level down at 1/3 of the price, then this one, and then judge for yourself. As for the other two that I bought, I gave one to my sister, and I am going to keep the other in my drawer where I work to use during my breaks. The Titan Pro will be here at home, and I will be using it everyday for working on my arm strength, and listen to my favorite music at the same time.Update:After using this Powerball for a while I found it to be heavier in the hand than the other plastic types. It is also fair amount more torqued for exercising with it. It will be more tiring for someone who is not very strong. One thing for sure it is very smooth and it feels a bit larger.With any of the types of Powerball you would buy, I would greatly consider the windup self starting one over the one with the pull string. This is really a convenience decision. If you get a pull string one of the same quality level as the equivalent windup self starting one, using it will be the same.Overall, the Powerball products are very good, and gives a terrific workout for the the wrists and arms.
