This is a wonderful light bulb. You put it in and it works fantastically. Never need to worry if the light is on or not. Works perfectly. We go out in daylight it is off and come home after dark and the light is away on when we get home. Also have lasted a long time. Ordered more for o other entrances

For years I tried using a photo electric adapter between the light socket and the bulb that was supposed to sense the light level and automatically turn on or turn off the bulb. They only worked for a short period of time before the bulbs would burn out or the adapter would burn. Very frustrating having to deal with this.Then I found these bulbs on Amazon and was skeptical at first but did buy one package maybe a year ago. So far they have worked great with no issues, even in the fixtures that always had given me problems in the past. I just purchased a second box of bulbs to put in other fixtures around the house and yard. Very happy with this bulbs

These lights have been the best thing I've found in a long time! I have them on the front porch and back patio and they have worked perfectly for 6 months. I dread the day I have to replace them since I can't do it. They've been a blessing to me.

The light is bright, which I prefer since the street light doesn't add too much light for the block.The highlight is never having to think about turning on and off my outside light and worrying about someone noticing that you're not home if your light is not on from a normal routine.I will update the life of each bulb.

I really want to give this a 5 star review! I think it's fantastic as far as doing what it says buttttttt I'm concerned about the 4 pack dying out, as per reviews online, people claim these eventually give out and that leads me to my issue with them. They are so dang good at turning on, that they turn on before it's dark outside. Don't get me wrong .. I'm thankful to come home to a house that's lit up but when they are on for so many hours before it gets dark, how efficient are they?! Love that the sensors work but hate that they are TOO sensitive ... lol If that makes sense! Grateful for the technology but it needs to be tweaked just a bit basically. As soon as the sensors don't process sunlight outside, they turn on so even in that pre-dusk faze, they turn on and stay on until the next day when the sun is back out (even after dawn). I notice they turn off when they have DIRECT SUNLIGHT on them so if you live in an area with more shade, they will constantly stay on, even in broad daylight. Priced well for what they do. They are solid, as any typical bulb and they provide two different colors. The bright white light has a blue hue whereas the regular light, has more of a yellowish common soft glow. We went with the white and it's extremely bright! Super happy about the visibility when they are on. Would buy again because of the convenience that we don't fumble for keys to open the door or turn on my cell flashlight first anymore. Best part too is that we didn't have to pay an electrician to change anything. You simply take out your current lightbulb and screw this one in and voila! Job is done and you have lights that turn on automatically. Also, I should mention, you have to leave the light-switch to the ON position 24/7, for this to work.

They light up a corner against my outside garage wall, and come on when dark, turn off when light. What more is there? Great product.

Previously, I was turning the patio lights on before going to bed,and then off in the morning when I got up. Now, I just leave the lights on. They go on automatically when it's dark, and then off in the morning before I get up. These will be great for when we go on vacation. We will no longer need to leave the lights on all day when we've gone.

Much brighter than i anticipated
